Is it loud enough in bathroom while taking a shower(water noise)?

This little speaker packs a punch. I sometimes use it while I'm taking a shower. It's loud enough to drown out the noise, but just be warned, extended and prolonged use while in the shower could possibly damage the speaker. The steam in the bathroom might get in the speaker and mess with the circuitry. Other than that, it can totally drown out the sound of the water while in the shower. (No pun intended)

can you connect several of them together for more sound?

I don't know why so many answers are "no". I bought the speakers that this question is attached to, and I am listening to them right now. 2 of them, tethered together. So the answer is YES you can connect them together for more sound.

The cord on the speaker itself is a little over 5 inches long and it comes with an extendable cord that's roughly 18 inches long.

Is the speaker battery charged through an outlet or through the computer?

Using the usb cord you can use the same wall charger for outlets that you use for your phone to charge it at a outlet. You can also use the car plugin that you charge your phone with the cord to charge it in the car. Finally you can plug it into the computer to charge it.
