Fit perfectly on a Ruger American .308
I snagged these for my Ruger American .308 and a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40. They fit perfectly, scope fit perfectly, everything worked great.I had to call the guys at Talley to figure out which set of rings I should get, but their customer service is absolutely WONDERFUL. I was talking to a real person from the start.Seriously, if you're in the market for a set of good rings, you should already have snagged these.

Images deceiving, not what I received. Do not recommend.
Product option I selected shows a one piece mount (bottom of front and rear mount connected), however, I received a mount that has two separate pieces (a front mount and a rear mount). Item was not sold (or shipped) by Amazon.

Mounts were well made and look nice on my rifle
These mounts worked well on a Savage 116 long action rifle with a Nikon 3-9X40 Buckmasters scope. Mounts were well made and look nice on my rifle. Only reason I gave them 4 stars is even though they are extended mounts, I had no room to adjust for eye relief. (this seems to be normal for Savage long action mounts.)

Fit my Ruger American 30-06 perfectly. Since I first heard of this brand and style I've bought them for all my rifles. This base of the ring bolts directly to the receiver after removing the OEM rail/mounts. This is an extremely rugged and secure method to connect to the rifle.
