I premeasured the insertion depth and determined that the bolt holes would line up. I did have to drive the adapter into the pruner with a dead blow hammer and do the final bolt hole line-up with an alignment punch. But that was all there was to it. It's lightweight, appears to be well made and so far has worked great for my application.
