Should be included with the key board ... but, some people prefer the portabilty of battery powered devices and save the cost of the power supply. This is a real Casio power supply. Not some poorly made copy. For the difference of a few bucks, why risk burning your house down or using a unstable power supply that fails to maintain proper voltage and amperage, thus damaging your device ???
