MSI MAG FORGE 100M

I decided to gut my old pre-built HP machine and migrate the components over to a case as I was moving up to a 2060 Super GPU and wanted to make sure it stayed cool on air. After a lot of searching for a case with decent airflow performance and room to upgrade in future, I settled on this one. Fifty quid for a case with three fans, two of them RGB (self-controlled on the lighting side, which is fine for me as my old motherboard doesn't have that kind of thing anyway) and a lovely glass side panel is an absolute bargain! Coming from a smaller pre-built case, this thing is an absolute dream to work in (with an mATX board in my case) and cable management was great fun - cable-tying all the wiring in place was really satisfying (even if I could have done better) - and it looks really clean from the front side now where it was a total mess in the old case. I'm totally looking forward to the future with it when I get to upgrade the system to something much more modern as I know this case will handle it fine.

I bought this case for someone who im building a pc for (they chose the case) and all i can say is it is amazing what you can get for such a small amount of money! the case is well built no sharp edges and has amazing build quality, building in this system has been a joy! cable management is really easy as it is well thought out with openings in the right places to pass cables through without issues. the tempered glass side panel is a great feature at this pricepoint, and the inclusion of 3 120mm fans (2 rgb and 1 fan with out lights) and also that it comes with an rgb hub to enable you to connect 6 rgb devices (maybe more if you use rgb splitters) the included magnetic dust filters are nice to have to keep cleaning easy. the mesh front is good for airflow to keep everything inside nice and cool, i am really happy with this case that i really cant find anything to mark it down. it is so good i am actually thinking of changing my case to one of these for my own personal system, Highly recommended!!

We set up and had it running in less than an hour. Yes, we had all the parts and cables ready and waiting to be implanted. Thumb screws on blank side and Philips on the glass (unfortunately not hinged) We fitted an ATX mobo, standard intel fan, modular PSU, an SSD, a HDD and a 300mm graphics card (msi 970GTX) with no problems, wiring was easy plenty of space and cables ties provided. The BIGGEST ISSUE is the manual on the centre page it shows the rgb fans need connecting to individual sys_fan header, and 4 pin rgb plug needs to go in control hub, and the hub needs sata and argb header. Didn't notice the instructions shows a slightly different method on the bottom right so did it that way, lucky the case has 3 fans included and I have 3 sys_fan headers. This took us a good 10mins to work out. I thought the case had purple only led fans so was very happy £44.99 for a msi case and a 3 fan rgb control hub system pre-installed. The last case I built (last week) was the Corsair 275r, and wasn't as easy as this to put together, SSD wouldn't fit in SSD cages, fiddly window attachments and that had no rgb included isn't good a value compared to the Msi case.

This case wasn't overly expensive but for the money it's great. It looks amazing and even came with RGB functionality for the front case fans - straight out of the box! I bought this with no prior experience of MSI branded cases. Let's put it this way - I wouldn't be put off buying another. There is ample room in this case for additional fans, radiator, aio or air cooler. Depending on your preferences or what your particular build dictates. The RGB fans can cycle through the colours with an on case button. Or, they can be turned off completely. Not too bright or overpowering on the LEDs either, which is nice. Fans set to an aggressive curve are not overly loud. Very tolerable and in honesty while playing a game.. cannot even hear the fans. They provide good airflow. But their cooling capabilities depend on components of course and how much heat your build will generate. So do your research if you aren't sure! The case features a clear tempered glass side panel. So you can admire your build and praise your cable management. Thanks to the excellent options provided to your cable management OCD by this brilliant case. Many cable pass through options are available and the side panel (back panel?) comes away to allow cables to be managed outside of the main case cavity. Leaving you with a VERY SATISFYING clean looking build. Almost professional looking. Almost.

Why spend £££'s when you can get this case at this price. It is awesome. I have probably built 500+ systems over the years and this case was so easy to work in! Loads of room in a fairly compact case. Takes a full size GFX Card (6700XT) with plenty of room to spare. Plenty of RGB although I didnt use the included RGB controller I plugged the included fans directly onto the MB for full control using MSI Mystic Light. Cool & quiet, compact and pleasing to the eye. Dont think about it, just buy it.

Such a great PC case, I have the MSI forge 100R and the case was so well made, easy to install/easily route cables neatly, has great airflow, 240mm radiator support, separate section for PSU like cases twice the cost I purchased the 100M (identical but with RGB not ARGB fans) for my son as his PC was overheating in the micro tower he had even though it had 5 fans. Now the machine runs cooler and more quite. At £50 you will struggle to find a better case and £10 cheaper than the ARGB model

Bought this for a new Ryzen build for my kids pc. Was really impressed with the quality of the case. Very easy to build with and plenty of space with a matx board. Atx boards might be a bit squashed in there but then it is just a mid tower. Fans are very quiet and very colourful with different colour options and sequences at the push of a button. Enough room at the back for cable management although I would suggest rearranging the fan cables that are already plugged into the controller as it can get a bit difficult to work with. So impressed I'm off to buy another to replace my old pc case.

I gave 5* for noise level, of course I would its only noisy when I have installed fans! Easy to assemble, mm yes for an expert, little fiddly for a novice. This is the first mid tower I have purchased, it is perfect and does a fantastic job of housing the power supply and all the ugly cables. A brilliant option, one if you're looking for a mid tower, you should purchase. The screws are rather fiddly on the glass cover.
