Firm and sturdy
Bought this to leave at my mom’s so I can use it when I visit. (Still trying to get her to use it.). It’s a solid roller that has worked perfect for my calf injury. It’s a shorter roller so I don’t how well it would for hips/thighs. I do think it’s a solid, strong roller.

Wow.....where do I begin??!!
Wow.....where do I begin??!! For reference - I'm a male, 6'1" 245'ish lbs with a mostly muscular build. I'm 44 years old and have been in and out of bodybuilding since the age of 18. Massages are great, but this foam roller might be the best $19 I have ever spent. First - I bought the foam roller thinking I would use it similar to a rolling pin and my two hands - you know, like rolling out dough (in this case, my muscles). While this works to some degree, NO!! You must YouTube-search "foam roller" and look for a 13+ minute clip by Ms. Ashley Borden. She demonstrates how to properly use a foam roller for all parts of the body. If you are using a roller for the first time, be ready for some discomfort (on areas that are REALLY tight) while rolling out specific areas. For me - my shins, glutes, and calves. (FULL DISCLOSURE: I am NOT affiliated with Ms. Borden) She makes a great point that I've never heard before (but have since heard in multiple videos) about glutes. If you sit all day or don't use your legs a lot during the day, your glutes, in effect, get "turned off". So, if you are a female (or male) and you are having trouble developing your glutes, you must roll them to re-activate them. This "turns them back on" and when you go to the gym to work on them, they will be more receptive of your exercising them. After my first use, I felt more fluid (easy to move) in motion, all over my body, just walking from point A to point B. I'm convinced that foam rollers are a must have if you are in to any form of fitness or bodybuilding. I bought the 36" foam roller. It's large enough for working the entire body, it's a lot more firm than you might imagine, and the 36" (think yard-stick) makes it a tiny bit of a challenge to store. I keep mine standing upright in one of my closets or sometimes under the bed. I'm very active here on Amazon, so if you have any specific questions, ask away and I will be sure to answer you. Happy rolling!

Can’t complain, pretty good.
This is great for relieving upper and middle back pain, however I’m having trouble rolling out my lower back with this foam roller, due to it being a little too large in diameter for me personally. It’s a decent price but you get what you pay for. It’s high density and has very little give, but don’t expect it to have any weight to it, it’s extremely light which may be desirable depending on your usage case. Overall I can’t complain, it is adequate for my basic use needs and I’m satisfied.

Stiff and Hard.
This roller is very stiff and hard. So if you want to feel more pressure from a stiff and hard roller than this should massage you all the way home.

Very happy with this. Had a less firm roller before for several years; it became a bit 'squashed'. This one is much better - nice and firm, and doesn't feel like it will ever get compressed or wear out. Been using it for a number months now - all good.

For the price, it is amazing. Definitely a more firm roller, but I love mine! Fits in a gym bag.

Produto bem resistente e bonito. Na minha opinião seria mais útil se fosse uns 15cm mais longo para poder manipulá-lo no curso da aplicação. Perfeito para liberação miofascial e "colocar" a coluna no lugar.
