Available in seven sizes from 1-3/4” to 12”, these screws feature wide, aggressive threads that eliminate the need for pre-drilling and a 3/8” hex head with built-in washer to prevent wood splitting. Better than expected.
Purchased the black 1/4" x 2 3/4" Timber screws. The black coating is even more attractive than I expected and they are obviously well made. They will enhance the look of my project. Would definitely buy again.

Good Value
Used to fasten a beam made of two 2x12s into notches in 6x6 posts. Went through Ozco mending plate. Pulled the wood together nicely. Seems solid and a good price.

Great Timesaver
Just built a small landscape timber wall with the 5 3/4" version of these and they worked great. I recommend getting them started with a couple of hammer blows but after that they drill straight down into the wood. Gone are my days of predrilling and hammering in spikes.
