They are simply lovely!You can close the curtains and make it look like one panel, or you can part them and tie them back (which is what I did) which classes things up a bit. A recommendation I would give would be to buy some twine or some burlap to tie the curtains back, because it provides a unique and fun look.They do provide a little bit of privacy, especially during the day. I like to leave the windows wide open and let the air come in, and they let the light in well. I would not recommend this for a house with large dogs or fiesty cats because the material is thin and easily ripped. If you do have cats, I recommend purchasing some soft paws for them so that the cannot tear the curtains.I would certainly purchase these again, and I might do so for other windows in the house.
