Everything and more
I saw the samples of this book and thought it would be a good addition to my books, and I wasn't wrong. This book is darling with all the pictures and how to designs. I am having a great time with it. If you are a beginner like I am, this book is a great help. Lots of fun pictures and ideas to add on to.

A nice book of inspiration, not a how to draw guide
I feel this book is good for inspiring an existing artist with getting interested in everyday items and how to arrange them into interesting drawings. While it tries to explain the process of drawing as if to assume one doesn't really know much about drawing yet I'm some places, process exercises feel very .... Well no one who doesn't know how to draw will be able to follow them and learn to draw. It's very "draw the rest of the flippin owl" for those who know the meme. That said, as an experienced working artist looking for inspiration and brushing up on old skills, I found it delightful and entertaining enough for the first third of the book. The rest of the book is exercises that felt like they lacked enough steps in places for a beginner to follow and jumped ahead too far with most steps. I'm not saying it's not a fun read for inspiration. Just that it's not a beginner's guide on how to draw. Processes can be fun to look over but new artists will not find the kind of breaks downs they need to really understand how to recreate and of these exercises. I also really love the artist's style and use of gouache which I'm learning and loving right now.

does not really explain how to draw
I like this book but I think it is a book that gives you basic ideas and does not really explain how to draw. There are few projects teach how to draw in detail. I was looking for a book that help me to draw but I keep it to catch up some ideas.

Draw Every Little Thing
Flora Waycott's delightful guidebook will have you sketching and painting in no time. Her whimsical art and the encouraging, playful tone of her words make the book a relaxing and fun read, even if you never pick up a pencil or paint brush, but I'm willing to bet you won't be able to resist making your own lovely works of art!

easy, cute and inspiring
Loved all her ideas! She leaves room for you to add your own style whilst still showing the basics. Very inspiring! My first goal is to make a neighborhood map. Wish I’d done that for every town I’d lived in!

What an absolute gorgeous book. I look forward to putting pencil to paper. I love that this is more than a simple drawing book. It also has ideas to make concertina mini books with beautiful photos.

I have been learning how to draw through books and videos. My goal was to draw realistic anmimals, people and landscapes. I am determined but have very little natural talent. I wanted to draw little illustrations in a birthday card for my sister, and this book seemed what I needed for ideas and instruction. I have poured over every page, and used many of these wonderful ideas to illustrate letters, cards, diaries, and sketch books. This is a beautiful inspiring book. It was an excellent springboard for me to let my creativity flow, and find my own style.
