Okay, so if you're a pet owner, you *know* the struggle. You clean, you sniff, you *think* you've got it all, but then that phantom smell just... lingers. I've been meaning to grab a UV flashlight for ages to really hunt down those invisible pet messes, and this Consciot 12 LED one popped up on Vine at the perfect time. First things first, it's super straightforward. You pop in three AAA batteries (standard stuff, not included) and you're good to go. It feels decent in your hand, not super heavy-duty but definitely not cheap plastic either. It's a comfortable size to hold and maneuver. Now for the important part: the detection! I waited until after dark, turned off all the lights, and went on a mission. And oh boy, did this thing deliver. Within minutes, I found several "invisible" spots on the carpet that I had absolutely no idea were there. They glowed a bright yellowish-green, just like they're supposed to. It was actually a bit horrifying to see everything, but also incredibly satisfying to finally *see* where the problem areas truly were. The 395nm wavelength and 12 LEDs make it quite powerful and cover a good area without being too dim. You don't have to get super close to the floor for it to work its magic. Beyond pet stains, I know these are good for checking for scorpions (thankfully don't have that issue here!), authenticating currency, or even checking hotel rooms for... well, you know. I bought this in a hurry because the dang green horn worms took over my tomato plants in a flash one day this past summer. I read that the blacklight will help you find them at night because those little buggers DISAPPEAR on your plants in the day time somehow. Well let me tell you, when I shined this purple light on my plants that night, those little buggers GLOWED!!!! I was amazed! I spent an hour looking over my plants and picking those nasty little jerks off of my tomato plants and it was SO SATISFYING! For just a few bucks, my plants were green horn worm free! They still managed to devour a good portion of my plants in just 1 day and they never fully recovered but now I have this light, as well as some preventive measures in my kit for this coming summer at least.

When I seen this, I thought it was gonna be you too small. I didn't think it would do the job. I thought I was gonna have to buy like a big black light back in the day when I had one. It was like a bulb and big and it had like a switch, and you had to turn it on, and it went like A fluorescent light bulb that was crazy. This is click a button comes with batteries. You just take out the batteries and then a little piece of paper falls out and you put them back in, they're in like a wheel so you can see the top has a spring and the bottom has a spring and you can see where to put them and they're easy to replace. Works great charges up pops like crazy. I took kind of a pop picture that was like right when I was about to turn it off. I thought I turned it off. So, it's kind of not fair, because the this lit it up so much better. I should have took another one but my son was bitching at me to get out of my room and all my other ones. It's too light out right now. To take a picture in my living room with my pops. I have some amazing pops that I brought into his room whenever he wasn't home earlier today and I charged up, I had one that I didn't even think glowed , and Was advertised as glow in the dark, I tried every kind of light, nothing worked. I put this on for 10 seconds. It stayed lit for like 10 minutes. I seen some ones that.Do glowed under regular lights And they worked, I thought, amazing, put up to this. Wow, like seriously. It's that good. Sometimes they don't stay lit for as long but they still light up for a good amount of time and that's like some of them. I've charged them in the dark, and then I took the mode, and they were still glowing in the light. You could still see the glow in the daylight. It was wild best small purchase. I felt they could have used a little less packaging. I've gotten like pop figures, and I mean, like probably 3 or 4 in a box the size they sent me this in, and it's literally like not even 3 inches. And it came with packing paper, I mean, it wasn't anything delicate, I mean, yeah, I guess one of the bulbs could have broke or something, but I highly doubt it. This thing seems pretty strong stable. Has the strap? It's not very big that's kind of my only complaint, but if that's your only complaint, you got a sad life. Worked perfectly for curing glue in the plastic housing inside my fridge. Held above glue for 20 - 30 seconds and it was ready to go! Definitely recommend!

It shows the Ontario trillium sign of driver licence and a foreign currency note that I have. So it works. Then I used it to test whether the sunglasses that I bought can really block uv light. Apparently the sunglasses can block uv light as described.
