Fandex Family Field Guides: First Ladies

I bought this for my daughter who is an adult but I thought it was so clever. Already got her the one about birds, this will hopefully be as fun for her to read as it was for me to buy 1

We often know so much about the First Men but seldom have a complete picture of the women beside them. So glad to have the Guides.....my Grandcherubs will enjoy them, too.

Had to have this! Although it's a learning product, my purpose is to keep as a souvenir for myself.

My Fandex was used and not up-to-date as the cover was of Jackie Kennedy so a few First Ladies behind. Nevertheless, it is a quick way to get a few facts and a chance to decide if you want to go into more detail with another source.

Should be in every classroom.

Excellent for car rides, filling time between other activities, and mealtime discussions, this fandex is filled with colourful biographies and pictures of the famous First Ladies who were more than merely the accompaniment to their presidential husbands. The articles inside this fandex provide role models for young girls and inspiration to try new things.

I have a 6-year-old niece who is "in" to First Ladies and Presidents. Although a bit "old" for her, there was more than enough to hold her interest and offer "more" to her as she grows older. Wonderful reference !

Very nice item for an overview, but not for young children, as it's a bit difficult to keep each page from getting caught on the other's edges.
