Stanley FMHT0-96230 Wire Stripper, Yellow/Black

Nice to see Stanley branching out into electrical tools. I use this to strip the cover off ethernet cables. What used to be a risky process of slowly adjusting a cutting knife on a rotating striping, hoping you don't nick the internal wires, has now become a simple squeeze. Works everytime. Never nicks.

Absolutely fantastic wire stripper. As long as the wire size is one that this tool says it can do, it does it flawlessly. It doesn’t always make a nice perfect cut, but it always does it cleanly every time. Never damages the inside wires. Very easy to use as well as easy to use one handed. The crimpers in my opinion are not very good, but that’s fine. I didn’t buy it for those. Overall, a very worthwhile tool to have if you strip a lot of wire! My time stripping wires for my job have gone from 5 minutes to less than a minute total.

I think Stanley got it right with this wire stripper. I love the ease and convenience in which you can get the job done. Excellent tool.

Best wire stripper I have ever owned. Nice heavy duty construction. Had no problem stripping 10 gauge wire. Did it in a couple of seconds like a hot knife through butter. Split the wire evenly in the center and the sleeve had a smooth clean cut. No damage to the wire itself during the stripping process with this. I highly recommend this product.

Best wire stripper ever!! Variation in wire insulation thickness has no impact on wire stripping as there are no blades to deal with. As a result, the wire is cleanly stripped without broken strands or nicked wires. There is no adjustment required whatsoever. I have used the tool to strip wires from 10 to 22 gauge so far without any problems. This tool is fun to use and because of that wire stripping just for kicks can become addictive. Again, BEST WIRE STRIPPER EVER!!

Weil ich in letzter Zeit im Haushalt und im Rahmen einiger Elektronik-Bastelprojekte immer häufiger einmal Kabel schneiden und die Litzen freilegen musste, habe ich mir diesen praktischen Helfer gekauft. Meiner Meinung nach ist es ein perfekter Begleiter für diverse Aufgaben im Haushalt mit einer soliden Bauweise, einer guten Haptik, die für angenehmes Arbeiten sorgt. Die Verwendung des Schneiders ist völlig unkompliziert und selbsterklärend. Kabel anlegen, Zange betätigen, fertig. Bis 6mm Kabel lassen sich dort gut abisolieren. Ich habe so problemlos und sauber Lautsprecherkabel mit 6mm2 Stärke, einfache Litzen (0,14mm2 bis 1,5mm2) abisoliert sowie gängige Kabel im Haushalt verarbeitet. So lassen sich gut auch passende Aderendhülsen oder Kabelschuhe anbringen. Zwar gibt es hierfür auch eine passende Vorrichtung, aber dafür nutze ich eine separate Crimpzange. Dennoch funktioniert das einfach Crimpen auch hiermit gut. Ein praktisches, rundum gelungenes und sauber verarbeitetes Werkzeug. Verpackung einfach gehalten; dadurch wenig Müll. Ich mag die Farben, die Stanley wählt. Da fallen die Tools im Werkzeugkasten sofort ins Auge. Die Bilder zeigen die Schritte "Kabel vorbereiten, Zange einstellen auf Abisolierlänge", "Anlegen des LS-Kabels an Arretierung", "Ergebnis nach einmaligem Abziehen". Weil ich die Amazon-Rezensionen auch für meine Einkäufe nutze und sehr hilfreich finde, hinterlasse ich bei Produkten, die ich selbst gekauft und für mich ausgiebig getestet habe, eine Bewertung, um anderen potentiellen Käufern bei ihrer Kaufentscheidung zu helfen.
