This is by far the best shaving solution I have ever used. I travel for my work and the convenience size wise is fantastic in and of it's self. But the quality of shave you get is second to none. You use a small amount and it lubricates your beard and keeps it visible for shaving. The razor glides effortlessly across any thickness of beard. The only negative I would say is that the stubble does not wash out of the blades as easy as with other shaving creams, gels, or lubes. This last a long time also for such a small size. This is well worth every penny. I am so glad that I can get this from Amazon.

I love the somerset oils. They condition your bear and make shaving smooth and clean. I use it with other shaving cream, but you do not need to. When camping and canoeing I just use the oil. The shaving oil is great. The bottle is often a frustrating pain in the behind. The hole in the dropper top has been too small (or once non-existent) on most of the bottles that i've bought. The last thing i want first thing in the morning is a frustrating fight with some inanimate object to get to the thing i want on the inside. If they were to fix that they'd get 5 stars.

I use this as a pre-shave. It feels good, smells good (though the smell is not strong and will go away soon because it’s natural. I like it I that way), and is effective. Since my beard is very course, I do put gel on top of it also, but I have tried shaving with only this product and it’s almost just as effective. I also travel a lot so the size is perfect. Though on a expensive side, to me it’s worth it because just 1 or 2 drops does the job well and it has no side affects.

I always have a hard time shaving, I wish they would come out with a laser product for your beard so I wouldnt have to worry about shaving and getting red bumps and redness. but.... This product helps alot with sensitive skin like mine, its very potent essential oils and products that help the skin before you attack it and shave it. for the ultimate shave: get a hot towel wrap your face in it and than put this product on, than the shaving cream, shave, and than follow up with bump patrol/control as your pre-aftershave, than moisturize with whatever you use. That method for me is a guarantee of a good shave.

The directions call for three drops or so for facial shaves. Completely unsafe in my experience. I've never had worse cuts than using this shave oil and I exceeded the three drop recommendation by a few drops. Perhaps it will work for you and it's my stubble but I threw mine in the trash, still nursing a terrible cut while I write this.

This stuff is fantastic! I have thick coarse hair and shaving really irritates my skin. This shaving oil is a dream. Super smooth close shave, pleasant scent. I haven't cut myself a single time since I've used this product and it used to happen regularly.

The shaving oil works well and smells good. However, the container is poorly designed. While trying to squeeze out the recommended 4 drops, the whole nozzle popped off and splashed oil everywhere, nearly emptying the bottle, and ruining clothing.
