Product description A SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) is the living home for all of the healthy bacteria and yeast that transforms your sweet tea into zingy, naturally fizzy kombucha. Each SCOBY is grown to 7cm (3in ) in diameter and includes at least 300ml of starter liquid. It is enough to brew 4 litres of kombucha. To give you the best brewing experience, we use mature starter tea that has been aged for at least 6 weeks. This ensures that your culture is packed full of strong, healthy bacteria and is ready to brew when you are. The live culture also comes with detailed, step-by-step instructions that make it easy to brew your own kombucha. Plus, you’ll have access to email and phone support to help you along the way. Brilliant product
I'm very new to fermentation so thought I'd give Kombucha a go! Absolutely brilliant product. Followed some simple instructions and have just brewed my first batch of grapefruit and ginger kombucha! Delicious 😋

Great SCOBY and great business!
Received my SCOBY safely with a sweet personal message from Sorsa and a detailed instructions pamphlet. SCOBY is healthy with enough starter tea, and produced a great first time batch of kombucha! I was worried how it’s turn out as this was my first time ever making it, but it worked well with no complications in a 5L jar and I’m currently working on the second fermentation. Highly recommend Sorsa!

Not as described, does not contain enough starter
Not as advertised, will not make 4 litres. Has arrived weighing under 170g for the entire package, starter and all. Only 60ml of starter not the "at least 300ml" as advertised. Enough to make 500ml total, which will be a starter eventually to make a batch. I've been making kombucha for 10 plus years but needed a new culture as I moved hpuse and broke my jar. I only ordered this one as it stated it had the most starter liquid. I am aware that the scoby absorbs a small amount of the liquid, but not this much. Disappointed

Very happy with my purchase
I couldn't wait to get my delivery and to my surprise it arrived even quicker than expected. A lovely personal note from the supplier too which just added to the excitement. The Scoby/Pellicle looks healthy and comes with the starter tea you need. All going good with the brewing experience so far.

Kombuche scoby (pellicle)
The first ever kombucha scoby which helps produce my kombucha tea drink together with the starter liquid in which it lives ..... I've grown several new scoby's from this one purchase and will soon have a collection of them

Only 80ml of starter liquid
Said it came with 300ml or starter liquid, actually came with 80ml. Scoby was cut off a larger piece. It might've been fine but I wanted to bee an initial big batch 4l batch. I ended up buying one from another company Which was designed for 1 l and it came with more starter liquid and a healthy looking scrubby
