I had wanted a shell wind chime since my teens. The decades I waited were worth it. This wind chime is stunning. The sound with even a slight breeze is so pretty and peaceful. Yes, the color has worn off very slightly over a few months but that doesn’t detract from the beauty. I highly recommend this shell wind chime.

Easily the most colorful and beautiful wind chimes I have owned but unpackaging may be a small nightmare for an impatient person. The string and materials used to make this are very delicate. Presumably this is why each string is tightly and carefully wrapped in plastic necessitating some time, patience, and small scissors to unwrap. At least a 20-minute job. I'm not sure how it will hold up in heavy winds as it may become tangled. Still, a beautiful addition to my deck and worth the effort. The sound is about what you would expect given the materials used. Not like heavy tubes hitting each other. Very delicate and lovely. 2+ month update: Well, these chimes have now stood the test of a pretty severe wind/rainstorm as well as many days of "normal" wind and rain. They look and sound as good as the day I hung them. This is a keeper. In fact, I'm buying one for my mother because I know she would love it as much as I do.

Love this wind chime! The colors are vibrant and the sound is lovely. It’s a wonderful addition to my front porch and my other wind chimes. Takes a little while to unwrap each individual glass piece but i appreciated the care took in the packaging and not one piece arrived broken. If you love wind chimes, will not regret ordering this one!

I purchased the light sky wind chime. The colors are really beautiful and I love the sound that it makes. It comes very well packaged in a box. As I opened it I saw that each strain was wrapped individually which was very nice. I also noticed on the tag that part of the money I paid would go towards a charity, very good. It’s also made in Indonesia. The string is fishing line that the pieces of shells hang from. There’s two small holes on each shells for the fishing line to go through. It’s looks very well made so let see how it holds up in the Florida weather. The colors of the shells when the light hits it is just beautiful. I have mine hung by my front door. The sound it makes when the wind blows is so nice and enjoyable. It’s a peaceful sound, nothing so loud that the neighbors would complain like previous ones I have had. Now, let me get to the reason why I gave it 4 stars. A lot of the shells were dirty looking, like they were stained and had chips on some of them(see pictures). I didn’t understand why because it was very well packaged like I said before. I don’t want to go through the hassle of sending it back and waiting on another so I’ll keep this one. I want to buy another for my back patio, which I still may and see how that one comes. I posted pictures along with a video so I hope that helps. ** I purchased a second one.. I added another picture to show the difference in the one I purchased a year ago to the new one I just received. I first one started falling apart a few moths ago, the fishing lines were actually breaking and the shells faded a lot in one year as you can tell from the pictures. I actually preferred the colors in the first one I purchased a year ago compared to the one I received recently. But both are beautiful when light hits it and held up good for a year in this Florida weather.

Updated Review: This thing is LOUD but I love it, lol. Had to move it away from the window that the Hubby sits nearest to the most but I can still hear it just perfectly. And it's held up beautifully! I have another video to add (fingers crossed) that shows how the colours have faded but aside from that there has been no damage at all! I expected a lot more wear and tear on something that looks so delicate... other wind chimes I have (I have lots) fall apart in just a few months but this one is still going strong after over 2 years and a whole lot of wind! And you know what else? I actually like the colours much better faded! I wouldn't suggest this as a gift to just anyone but If you know the person you'll be giving it to already loves nosey wind chimes, this one is a true winner! Original Review: I love it so far. It was very well packaged, each string separately wrapped in plastic. It gets very gusty where we live so we'll see how sturdy it will be soon I think. It's very bright and colourful and if the video I made ever gets uploaded, you can judge for yourself about the music the chimes make. I really like how it looks and the sound it makes but my hubby doesn't share my enthusiasm for either (putting it mildly) so it might not be to everyone's taste. That's the only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars. Suitable for gift giving, to those with the taste to appreciate such things. ;D

Beautiful Windchime and extremely well packaged. It is clear line that holds everything which might have a bend or crinkle in it, but I think once it’s hung up, I won’t even notice.

Very beautiful, but it isn't very durable. I bought this back in September of 2025, about 6 and since then a few pieces have flown off. The color is painted on, it doesn't fade so much as chip away over time. This could be a nice look, but not my preference.
