I got these for my son’s room. He loves them. They’re pretty cool! Good stuff: We have textured walls. And in the past vinyl hasn’t stuck so I was worried these would fall right off. But they have been up for a month and no problems. It applies easy and held up. The lights are a good brightness. We got 50 ft and it fit All the way around the ceiling in his room. We have the remote which works and he really likes using the app on his phone to change the colors etc. I was worried it wouldn’t work but it does! Overall, I highly recommend these lights!!!! Room for improvement: In the spot where you plug the lights into the power box, they kept falling out. Like it doesn’t click in and stay. But I fixed that by taping the box to the wall (hidden) so the lights stay plugged in. No biggie for us. On the setting to go with the music, the lights blink super fast. I’d personally like it to be a little slower or more with the rhythm but my son doesn’t care. He’s happy with them. He enjoys showing them off to all his friends. Fun mood lighting. Just right for gaming lighting. No glare on the tv but enough light to see in the room. 4.5/5 stars from this mama! 👍

My 15-yr-old wanted LED light strips for his b-day. I looked at TONS and read all the reviews, and went with these ones... and he (and I) couldn’t be happier! High quality, excellent packaging, good instructions. The remote control is cool, but there’s even more customizable colors etc if you download the app and control them through your phone. These also have multiple music sync options (so they change to the beat of the music). Very cool, very satisfied. I hung his along the top of his wall, where it meets the ceiling. Tips: (1) realize these are two sets but they start from the same corner—they don’t plug into each other “end-to-end” like Christmas lights, you have to pick your starting corner and then run one 25-foot section one direction, and the other 25-foot section the other (see photo). (2) I removed the adhesive/sticky backing and applied them to the top of the wall, and not the ceiling... then I tacked in clear thumbtacks every two feet underneath the strip (not through the strip!) for added support (see photo). (3) we had overlap at the ends, where the two strands meet. You can cut off the excess, but I just laid one strand directly over the top of the other (he didn’t want to cut them in case he wanted to move them later). We had no issues at all with overlapping like that—visually, you can’t even tell (see photo). So... overall, very satisfied! In fact, his older brother took one look at how cool it turned out and decided to order some for his room as well!

First, I recommend that you buy TWO sets. Each one being a 50' set, will do about half of your average size room. I did. Now, these lights have so many different action patterns, colors and brightnesses, the remote looks like a keyboard. But, it's super easy to control. In my video, I'm demonstrating my FAVORITE function. The 'DISCO' function. The power supply has a built in microphone. It picks up the music and changes the lights in tempo with the beat. It also has some simple switch controls there, and the IR receiver. I recommend making sure that part is within clear line of sight, for the remote. The 3M adhesive is enough to hold the flat strip on a good clean smooth surface. But, the kit also includes little clips to hold it securely at corners, and an adhesive strip to hold the IR receiver and inline switch in place. I'm setting up a 'party room' in the garage, where we can have our friends over for some fun music, eats, drinks and maybe a little dancing. These Micomlan RGB LED lights are really going to set the mood. Good purchase. Five stars.

I bought 2 sets of these for my teenage boys for Christmas, we've had them up a little over a week now and so far they work great. The adhesion seems to holding up good and the are plenty bright enough. The only complaint is the remote controls are very cheaply made, it definitely seems like they would break easily and you have to point them directly at the the sensor for them to work. Also, my one son has issues with his Roku TV remote interfering with them. The power button on the Roku Remote turns the lights red and the volume up button turns them yellow.

I have purchased these LED light ones from different brands that were horrible and not as long as I wanted them to be. One I paid for was 25$ and could only go around my DOOR! This 50ft one is absolute amazing and definitely worth the price. The bluetooth connection makes life soooo much easier if you lose remotes as much as I do. (PS I lost that remote within a few days of purchasing, and I dont care if I dont find it because I dont need it!). I set it up myself, very easy and I'm barley 5ft tall haha! The ONLY issue is that the some of the LED light had to go on the side of the wall (kinda) in order to reach the top and it looks sorta weird with the random light on the wall, BUT I'm purchasing blackout tape and covering it with a nice poster, works great. Still would have preferred if the electric cord was a few feet longer. I noticed some reviews mentioning lights not working, but I believe it is because they did not read specific instruction on where to cut the lights at. Anyways I'm very happy with this purchase and will be buying in the future for my friends and family.

Not bright as i wish. Not sticky as i wish. But doing its job. It ok product with good packaging.
