Pros: - 1st you need to understand what "It works on Metal" means: it means it will work on the car's dashboard, on the phone's car holder, etc. in other words: it includes also metal covered in plastic. Other tags didn't do it for me, and that's how I ended up with those ones. (at the beginning I thought: who cares, i won't put it on a sheet of metal. They allow you to perform a set of actions whenever the NFC is detected (e.g. turn WiFi on/off, open an application, start music playback, etc.). The tags work as intended but a case with any thickness will cause you some headaches in getting your phone to read the NFC. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 in an Otterbox case and I feel like a wizard waving his magic wand when I'm trying to get the phone to read this thing. When I have the phone out of the case it reads instantly. I've since changed to a Rokform case with the magnet and I've had some luck with getting it to consistently read by pushing the mounting hole against the NFC tag, but it is still hit-and-miss most of the time. Overall, make sure whatever NFC tag you buy is advertised to mount on metal surfaces like this one is. If they don't advertise it, avoid the tag as it's use will be very limited to surfaces with zero ferrous metal within 1-2 inches of the tag.
