I snapped in my ipad and pencil and the fit seems pretty spot on. I really like this style for my previous tablets, but I'm a little disappointed with this unit so far.The flap doesn't seem to fit very securely over the screen. It seems like there is a lot of play, and it's only held there by a weak magnet. It really should have included a piece of elastic that you could pull over the back to keep the front cover more secure.I also do not like that it's really just thin vinyl at the "binding" where it folds. I'm worried that with a lot of use, this thin area will start to crack or tear and fall apart.I also wish it had the wide elastic "handle" my old case had so that when flipped completely back, I could slide my into the handle on the inside of the front cover and hold the ipad easily with one had when reading.The good news is that now I will stop losing my pencil because this case does hold the pencil very securely, and it's still easy to get the pencil out. I'd be worried tho that in my big purse or backpack the front cover will pop open enough and the pencil would escape if jostled.Overall it's pretty sleek and a decent value, but time will tell if it will be durable for everyday use.
