My silver hair hubby likes this shampoo for taking light iron stains out of his hair. It works great. Price is ok. The first bottle I ordered leaked all over. At first it was shocking until I realized the deep purple doesn't stain. Amazon sent me another bottle right away even before I sent the old bottle back. Love Amazon

I have very platinum highlights in my hair. The shampoo with conditioner is great. Most of the purple shampoo are extremely drying. This one with an added touch of conditioner helps tremendously on over bleached processed hair. I still use more conditioner after but it for sure helps with the first step. You can also use it to tone your hair but be careful. It’s very purple and you will get much more of a gray tent if you do that. But for the money, it’s a really good purple shampoo.

So far so good. They have don’t seem to sell the large bottle of clairol with the pump anymore, so just pup my last pump on this. Works well.

I have used this shampoo for a long time to keep the yellow tones out of my white hair-ny husband too. We both like it and it does an excellent job of maintaining the whiteness and alleviating any yellow or brassy tones. When shipped, the bottle is wrapped in plastic, thankfully, because it usually dribbles some shampoo out. If the top on it was checked prior to shipment this problem could be eliminated. Otherwise, a good value product that works well.

This product works great. I use it twice a week and it will keep blonde beautiful until I can get to the salon.

This stuff is 10/10. At this size, it last for a long time. It's a good lather and fragrance is good. I use it to tone my silver hair. Works great.

I'm so thankful I found this shampoo! I naturally have medium brown hair, but last year I decided to turn my hair silver for the "granny hair" look. I bleached my hair to a very light pale yellow, then toned it. It turned out a beautiful silver. However, the toner washes out quickly and the silver starts to look warm which is gross. That is where this shampoo comes in. I use this shampoo once or twice a week as needed to "cool" down my silver. I do exactly as the bottle says, I lather up, rinse, then lather up a 2nd time and leave it in for 3-5 minutes. The lavender pigment "tones" my hair and keeps it the cool silver color that I love. This shampoo is the most critical part of maintaining my hair color. I would not say this shampoo is "conditioning" but it does not dry out my hair as much as other shampoos do. It does add a very very slight sparkle to my hair (you can see little glittery things in the shampoo). I use large amounts because I want to really fully saturate my hair with the pigment, AND I lather up twice. But I only use it once or twice a week. On other days I use a sulfate free conditioner to "wash" my hair or a very gentle shampoo if my hair feels really dirty. All that to say that I'm glad this shampoo is so affordable because I do use a lot of product when I use it. Remember, this shampoo has pigment in it. It's temporary, but IT WILL stain things in your bathroom. Temporarily. When I use this shampoo I'm careful to rinse off any purple splashes in my shower so that the tile is not stained.
