Review: Good pasta spoon, but mine arrived damaged - My spaghetti scoop / pasta spoon arrived damaged, so I returned it. However since it's a simple kitchen tool and I had it in my hands, here are is my review even though I couldn't physically use it. Recently I've been replacing my old plastic kitchen tools with silicone tools, and a month or two ago I purchased a different silicone pasta spoon but after using that one a few times, I had an issue with it (pasta falls back out through the holes in the center) so I was looking for a different style. I ordered this GIR pasta spoon specifically because it's silicone and the holes in the center of the scoop are small enough so pasta won't fall through. The GIR pasta spoon that I received looked good as a pasta spoon (size, shape, etc), but it arrived with large cuts/gouges on both the handle and inside the scoop area, making it unusable without water getting into those areas - so I returned it. Overall it felt good in hand and seemed like it would be a great kitchen tool. My only (very small) concern is that since mine arrived damaged, in use it might also get damaged - however I think the damage on the one I received was likely mechanical. I would definitely order this one again if I decide to replace my current one.

My spaghetti scoop / pasta spoon arrived damaged, so I returned it. However since it's a simple kitchen tool and I had it in my hands, here are is my review even though I couldn't physically use it. I got this pasta spoon to replace my black plastic one. It works great; the "teeth" look a bit small, but they work just fine to "catch" pasta, even long shapes! I love that it's a little bit flexible, too, so you can kind of scrape the pasta & sauce out of the pan without having to use a spatula. Recommended!
