Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Markers, Medium Point, White, 2 Count. Works ok. No complaints. First one is at about 30 feet of line now and still has a few feet left. Had to pull out the marker tip and turn it 180 degrees to get it to work. Once working then removed, turned 180, and reinstalled. Have not tried the 2nd one yet.

This is, in my opinion, the best paint pen available.

These are long lasting. Do not smudge at all

Satisfied with this Sharpie product. Longevity and write very smooth compared to others I wasted time and money on.

I used these markers to "paint" vertical stripes on my windows to prevent birds from hitting them. I just put up a bird feeder and bath and I wanted to make sure the birds are safe. The stripes are just barely visible to me, they have held up well through some rain, and won't come off by wiping your finger accross. The paint "ink" flowed well and didn't leak. I will reapply, but only to make the lines just a tad wider. Very happy with these pens.

Best marker for labeling blow molded tool cases!

I could not get this to work. I’ve been in search of a good opaque white pen/marker for YEARS. This one I expected to work since it’s branded SHARPIE. I was disappointed. I would shake it and shake it and it would come out wet and white then dry and lose all opaque qualities. In other words it didn’t dry white… it dried “see through”. I was drawing a starfield on a black background and adding the stars with the pen. It just didn’t work. I think the only way to go for what I want … is to use thin brushes and opaque white ink from a bottle. I want to use opaque white for my line art. A pen like this would have saved time. Alas… it was not to be.

PROS: Super happy having permanent paint pens for marking travel gear. Uploaded two pictures. When using three coats are perfect, with dark cloth first layer is absorbed. Very easy to use. Shake and depress the tip against object painting until paint starts flowing. You get two or more uses as two pens are provided. They are the closest thing I could find to the old grease paint pens we used in the military to mark our uniforms and other things. CONS: Some more descriptive directions would be helpful, specifically about tip maintenance and how to use although I've covered the main flaw above, you need to depress tip to get the paint flowing after fully shaking the body of the pen. Pen is so light a person like me might think it is empty. It wasn't thankfully. Yes I'd buy these again and recommend to friends and family. bdv

Great for getting autographs on the plastic front of my pop vinys

Work really well. The tip is quite strong and durable. The paint is also very good and after drying leaves no streaks. Also water resistant, doesnt scrub off easily after drying. If shoes are very dirty, do two layers. I used them to restore my NMDs. After cleaning with degreaser they still looked brown/dirty. I used these to bring the shine back and worked like a charm.

Works OK on marking glass but doesn’t take much to wash away

I recently tried the Sharpie Paint Marker Paint, Permanent Oil-Base Marker in White (1782041), and overall, I'm really happy with the product! The white paint is vibrant, and it covers surfaces evenly with a smooth finish. The oil-based ink dries quickly and provides a durable, long-lasting result—great for both indoor and outdoor projects. I’ve used it on a variety of materials like wood and metal, and it performed well on both. The medium tip allows for precision in detail work, though I did find it a bit tricky for very fine lines at times. The flow is mostly consistent, but I did have to shake the marker a couple of times to get the ink flowing evenly, especially after sitting for a while. Overall, this marker is an excellent tool for art projects, DIY crafts, and touch-ups, and I’d definitely recommend it. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is simply the occasional need for a little more shaking or priming before use. But aside from that minor issue, it’s a great product that delivers solid results!
