It was a great light mattebox. However, the functionality of tilting the mattebox to eliminate the ghosting issues with filters was not working as advertised. If you are looking for a tilting mattebox this isn’t the best choice. Overall, for the price, this product isn’t the best choice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars A little Pricey but has some great features *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2021* So this is a great matte box but at $500 I kind of feel like you're paying just for the name, there's a few other matte boxes on the market in the $100 range that really give this one a run for it's money, particularly ones from Small Rig and Tilta the only this thing this one has going for it is it can fit 3 filters as opposed to 2 and it can swing away for easy lens changes keep in mind though that they make a version of this that $100 cheaper that cannot swing away which only really leaves that one with advantage, you really have to ask yourself if that extra filter slot is worth the extra $300 and if that rail attachment that lets the matte box swing open is worth the extra $100 on top of that. I feel like for most people it's probably not going to. The packaging on this matte box was also pretty bad compared to other, my $100 small rig matte box came in a much nice box and was packaged waaaay better than this one, when I received this and opened it I was pretty underwhelmed it was just a box with a few bags containing the matte box and filter rings and some black packing paper and that was pretty much it, I'm not gonna like I was expecting a lot more from a product that cost this much, the packaging on this very much felt like an afterthought.
