The perfect solution for Rosewill RSV-L4000 owners!
If you’re struggling to find the "impossible to find" official rails for your Rosewill RSV-L4000, buy these StarTech.com 1U Universal Rails immediately. They act as a sturdy shelf for the server to sit on, making rack mounting a breeze. The adjustable depth (24-36 inches) means they fit almost any 4-post rack, and the build quality is far superior to cheap generic options. It turned a two-person lifting job into a simple slide-in installation.

Work well enough
Holds my 4U home server without issue, feel strong and stable. I do have a couple nitpicks but nothing that's a deal breaker for me. Assembly was easy, since they're really just extend then fit to server rack and attach (use your own mounting hardware though). I could not get the screws in the middle of the rails tightened down, as the instructions indicate, to fix the rails length though. Don't know if they were assembled wrong at the factory, or the hardware is bad, or what but it's ultimately not a big deal since they're affixed to the front and rear of the rack and can't move independently. The one thing that I do need to figure out though is some way to hold the server onto the rails, they're very smooth and it slides surprisingly easily forward and rear when doing simple stuff (like plugging or unplugging a cable). Granted a 30" server probably isn't just going to slide entirely off without warning, but finding some sort of grip tape or something to apply to the rails would give some peace of mind most likely.

Loosen the mounting screws to get your server in. VERY Sturdy but REALLY tight.
I used this to mount a QNAP ES2486DC 2U into a 19" x 30" rack. My first attempt, I couldn't get this to fit. I thought it was in the 2U direction, but it was actually the width (19") direction. What I ended up doing was loosening all the screws on all four posts JUST enough that the bracket could freely move close to the post if pushed on with a little bit of force. Even with this configuration my server got stuck on the place of the rails where it doubles up, and I had to reach into the side of the rack and pull on the rails a little bit to get it past that point (The rails actually bend relatively easily this way in a 30" rack). Once I got it past that point, I was good-to-go and could push it all in. After the server was almost all the way in, I went around and tightened all of the screws on the rails, forcing the rail to be more perpendicular with one hand while I tightened the screw with the other hand. It works like a champ. The server I put in weighed at least 100lbs. I'll be putting in some 150lb APC UPSes next, and I expect them to not be an issue. These rails are extremely sturdy.

Built well. Easy to mount and use. Perfect for home lab.
Bottom line: If you have a rack, and you have rack mount-able servers, but you built them yourself or you have mixed-brands servers and don't want to deal with the $$$ OEM rails, you need these rails to mount your mixalottastic gear in the rack. I have several racks at home. Full size, half height, etc. The gear I put in those racks changes every few months. Switches and patch panels are easy. All 1U or 1U. Servers on the other hand are not. Rails for a Dell 2U server are not the same as HP 2U rails, nor SuperMicro 2U rails and so on. If you've ever sold your used gear, you know that the OEM-specific server rails you paid $100 for, aren't worth half that on the used market. And that stinks. A lot of that gear I buy used or build it myself. The gear never comes with rack rails and even if the rails are available, they cost 2x-3x what these rails do and possibly doesn't even fit in your not-36U-or-more-deep-home rack. These rails are the answer. They are built from heavy-gauge steel. They even come with cage nuts and screws. They may seem expensive, but after you put your first set of these into your rack and cram your home-built, 4U GPU/NAS/AI server box thing that weighs 99 pounds into the rack and there's no drama, you'll wonder why you didn't buy them sooner. Highly recommended.

High Quality Rails
Support my Dell Poweredge R740 perfectly. I even threw another forty pound desktop on top of that and these rails were still going strong. Material is thick and installation was quick and easy. StarTech does a good job with the finishing details and material quality that you just don't find cheaper alternatives and the cost of these is certainly worth the assurance that your equipment is secure and safe.

Excellent product! Definitely a go-to company from now on.
Excellent product. Works beautifully, fits the rack perfect. Only thing I wish they would add is a retention ability to hold the server in place. Minor inconvenience considering the quality and absolutely solid construction.

Good, but not perfect for my server
Works for my needs, but be mindful some servers have little nubs that don’t allow them to sit flush on rails like this - didn’t work well with a power edge r730xd

This is all you need
have a super deep rack, most after-market rails don't work and are super flimsy when fully extended. This thing worked perfectly, fully extended, and super sturdy. Great Design. buying 4 more.

Ottime slitte: robuste e facili da montare. Come suggerito in altri commenti, le ho montate rivolte verso il basso per permettere l'allineamento del server con le guide verticali del rack.

Nice and sturdy, I use it to support a big and heavy UPS in my rack

Usla. Utrymmet blir för smalt och för lågt.

These are sturdy and extendable, unfortunately the fact that they are doubled in thickness, they reduce the overall width of equipment that can be used. I was trying to support Pylontech US5000 batteries which are 442 mm wide and heavy. These shelves were installed in the 42U rack also from Startech. The overall usable width was only about 338mm. In the end I had to flip them upside down and support from underneath which meant wasting 2U. I expect better quality for this price from Startech. If I'd known about the width restriction, I would have gone for generic, non adjustable shelves from another company which were 1/3 the cost.
