I watched several videos and I saw one where the person was using one of the larger (12, 18 or 25) so I decided that is what I needed and I figured the 3 like what I already had would just be extras. Well, when I got them I saw that the part that makes the hem turn over was roomier than the ones I had. These work beautifully so it was not me but the foot! These are much nicer then what I already had, nice metal and much better made! I love the bonus snips, the snips are excellent also. I can never have enough snips, lol. These are my favorite kind because they fit my hand well and do not tire it out. I would definitely recommend and would purchase again if ever I need to.
