I am embarking on my journey as a "real" cook or "advanced" sous chef as opposed to a real chef, and these knives make that journey easier and even more enjoyable. They are not too large, so they are easy to handle. They are sharp and well weighted, which makes the tasks of cutting meats and vegetables easier--almost fun. The price cannot be beat when one considers the impressive quality of these knives--and they look nice. In fact, they look very expensive, but they are surprisingly affordable. As I progress to more "advanced" cutlery, I will look for cutlery from this particular brand. They the best I've ever purchased, and they come highly recommended.

This is a nice pair of smaller knives to round out a knife set. I bought them primarily so my 10 year old daughter would have knife that fits her hand better, as my 8" chef's knife is a bit unwieldy for her. The 5" knife from this set is the perfect size for her to work with. These knives work well and feel nicely balanced in the hand. They're also very pretty and I love how nice they look on display on my knife rack.

I own a few of this company’s knives including a super fantastic Chefs knife they make. The knives in this set are good, but they did not come very sharp which every other knife J have from this company has been solid all around. Seems nice otherwise but it is no fun getting a mildly sharp new knife. May have been a fluke

Bought as a returned item, the arrived box partially crushed. Knives inside were pristine, with the point protectors intact. Edge is very sharp. Weight and balance is impressive. Beautifully finished.

This brand is my new favorite for knives. I originally bought the Nakiri knife….loved it and had to go back and buy more. The blades have remained super sharp for a LONG time. The etching on the Nakiri is absolutely beautiful. They are definitely a conversation piece. Slicing and dicing has become much easy and faster! I love my knives!

The knives came in a sturdy box, packed well and included a knife sheath for each knife. Their design is very nice. I’m impressed with the comfort and the balance is to my liking.

Makes fast work of any job! Slice easily though melons and carrots Take care and buy high quality cut resistant gloves. Potato slipped and received 4 stitches first time I used the 8 inch blade.

This is an excellent knife, a good weight, fits nicely in your hand and is very sharp.
