I ordered an XL assuming it wouldn't be an American fit. I am a size 14 normally and in this sweater would need an XXL which they don't make. Ironically ordered a turtleneck in another color from LLBean around the same time and ordered a L which is a bit roomy.Hope some day Amazon will use its clout to straighten out the horrible sizing problems they have and we are supposed to put up with. ### ⭐⭐ Wouldn't buy it if I'd tried it on in a store *by C***M on November 3, 2019* Fits like a sweatshirt with tight elastic cuffs (that need to be folded over because the arms are long). Elastic turtleneck is tight as is the elastic around the cuffs and base... Sadly there's a 6" elastic band around the base that is unflattering over the hips. I normally where a M most of the time. I bought this in a Large. It fits quite snug. I can wear it under another top, basically to wear it for the warmth across my neck and chest area (I'm always cold!). But it's not a flattering top to wear on its own imo. I bought the light grey, seems to be true to color via the pic. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BEST TURTLENECK SWEATER I HAVE EVER BOUGHT!!!! *by D***. on October 24, 2019* First of all, I am so very picky about my turtlenecks. The neck has to stay up and against my neck, but not tight, like it is supposed to. This one does just that! It also has a wide ribbed section at the bottom and ribbed cuffs on the sleeves that matches the turtleneck. I read some of the reviews prior to ordering so I ordered up 2 sizes (2X) when I usually wear an XL and I am so glad I did. It still fits a little snugger than I like but it is not at all tight. So I just ordered 2 more and went up to the 3X to get the loose fit I like. I would definitely recommend ordering up 2 sizes, especially if you have a fuller bust, so you have more room. The price on this is great too and I will probably be ordering another one in the very near future!
