Works well for power wheel upgrade
Works like it should. Was able to keep the power wheel tuned down until my son was ready to go faster.

Test with a load before deciding it is bad
When I received this controller, the first thing I did was connect 20V to it, hook up a voltmeter to the output and test the range of voltages it would output. It didn't do anything to the output. It read a constant 20V with the knob at min and max. I assumed it was bad and returned it for another unit. Tested the second one with the same results. I then figured that they couldn't both be bad right out of the box, so I connected a load to the output (a 24V motor). With the motor and voltmeter connected to the output, the voltage would then vary depending on the position of the potentiometer (0-20V). I haven't had a chance to put this in the power wheels jeep I ordered it for, so I can't vouch for the product other than the fact that you must have load on it to see the difference in output voltage.

Good Controller
Bought this to slow down a DC motor for my daughter's science project. The speed controller worked like a charm, and couldn't have been easier to install. The instructions were clear and concise, making the installation a breeze.

Failed very soon after using
I'm an electrical engineer and have good understanding of electronics. Despite the unit being rated at 30 amps and the fact I installed a 25 AMP fuse between battery and this unit, I've had two of these fail now. These units have an internal fuse that did blow, when I replaced it though, the unit was dead. Sounds like they didn't know how to fuse it properly either. I won't be buying any more.

Worked right out of the box
I am using this motor controller to control the speed of a 12vdc scooter motor that is attached to the cutting head of a robot lawn mower. So far the controller has performed to the seller's description, but I have only used it a short time.

Great product, works perfect for my kids power wheels, really nice that it is protected by an internal fuse as well as the inline!

I use it to regulate a 90V 15A motor on a 60V DC input. It has actually help quite well and still 100% fonctionnal. Actually impressed!

Exactly working with my project ....

It worked great at first and it did exactly what I wanted it to until it didn’t. I was tinkering around with it using a standard hobby motor and it worked just fine. Then I used the brake feature on the switch and it took a turn for the worse, it still let power through but it had no control, it was the same result as just hooking the wires up directly with no motor controller at all. Neither the on/off/break setting on the switch did anything and the dial stopped working. If you don’t need the brake feature (and aren’t to curious to stop yourself from trying it) it works great. Other wise definitely not worth it. So it depends on what you need but a simple thing that’s included causing it to break might say something about how it will preform in the long run.
