works and is quality
I love this. it's crimped so no shorts or crossovers and even though it's ketchup and mustard which only indicates that it was cheap not bad quality i believe these should last for years to come and highly recommend them they are just like my grandfathers old set that have finally become worse for ware after 3-4 systems over the last decade.

Plug and Play for older drives all day!
Another adapter cable I bought for another computer needing power to older drives. Works great, fit isn't tight or loose.

Works great in my NAS
I bought these to split my power cables up to fit more drives in my NAS. I have a bunch of these in my NAS and they work great even after years. So I bought more the last time I upgraded my NAS and it still runs perfectly!

Good cables
Bought these because the PSU I bought didn't come with SATA cables. You do have to be careful when pushing it in the connector because I ended up having to adjust the PSU female connector sockets. but other than that it works great and at a good price.

These are NOT the type that are prone to shorting
A lot of these molex to SATA adapters have what appear to be molded SATA clips. They can get hot, melt the separating plastic and start fires. This happened on a PC i built for my son years ago. Ever since I am very careful when I use any sort of power adapter in a PC build. I found these SATA adapters to be made of hard plastic clips that were snapped around the wires. The SATA clips don't appear to be get hot and I am confident that they are not going to be safety problem in the use I made of them

Works well and made out of high quality plastic
Monoprice 108794 24-Inch 4-Pin Molex Male to 4 15-Pin SATA II Female Power Cable Net Jacket I bought this cable as I didn't have enough SATA power connectors on my power supply. The cable has one molex 4 pin male connector and 4 sata connectors that plugged in right away. It seemed to be made out of quality plastic as nothing slipped and the connection felt tight on both the harddrives and the 4 pin molex connector. I used a coolermaster 4 in 1 HD enclosure to mount the harddrives in order to get the proper airflow. Overall the price for this cable was slightly cheaper than the cable they had at electronic frys. I have owned this product for over a year and if needed I would buy another.

If you work with computers, either as a hobbyist or as a tech, this is one of those little items that you will eventually need and then can't do without. The quality is good, the connectors fit well on both the SATA and power connector ends. Wires are the same gauge and quality as those found on most power PSU's. I like the fact that you can get this item here as not many computer bricks and mortar stores carry these kinds of accessories. Other than that what can be said, it works as intended and can be a life saver to have in your drawer of spare parts when the need arises.

The cable was well assembled using all crimp/insulation-displacement connnectors instead of thermoplastic ones.

Really great product, very useful if you don't have enough SATA power cables. I've been using these for over a month right now, and I've encountered no problems. Make sure your power supply has a 4-pin molex connector, it was a tight fit when connecting it. Otherwise, it was fully functional. Make sure you position the devices that need SATA power relatively close to one another. As you can see from the pictures, it is all on one cable. Would definitely buy this again.
