The beverage foams up like a root beer when you shake it up, tastes like the carbonated drink, but doesn't give you the gas of the carbonation. And it's about 25% lower cost than A&W. The aftertaste on some of these powdered drinks taste metally, but this Dads aftertaste is like a cross between root beer and cream soda. I like both so it's a winner. Where I used to buy A&W monthly I now have Dad's on subscription.
