They were disappointing – no buzz, and hard seeds in the shells. Recently, after hearing a story on BBC about Sichuan cuisine, I decided to try again. I looked through a lot of options on Amazon and chose these. I confess that I was influenced by the Panda on the labels as well as the reviews. I've used them a couple of times now. I need to work on my cooking skills with them, but they definitely have the flavor and the buzz, and no hard seeds, just the shells, as they should.
