Slick if a little limited
I got this to replace a more all-purpose scale and in general I love it. It looks beautiful and works extremely well for making coffee. I've been using it for months and it's become a pleasant and trouble-free part of my routine. You can also turn off the beep, which is great if you don't want to disturb others in the morning. The USB-C charging is also awesome and should be standard everywhere by now. It's also very compact, which saves space. There are some small downsides though. This scale doesn't really work for cooking. It only measures in grams, so if you want to use this for measuring ounces, you'll have to do conversions. Because it is so small, you also can't read the display if you put a large bowl on top to measure something like flour for baking. I just use a cheaper kitchen scale for those purposes, but be aware that isn't a do-it-all scale. One very small annoyance I have is that when you tare the scale, sometimes it takes a second to get down to zero. It works every time, but it would be nice if it was more seamless. Nonetheless it's hard to beat the features and design at the price. I have no regrets after buying this.

Perfect! Nice item
I love this product, I have been using it for months and I have only recharged it twice. What I like most about this product is that it turns off automatically after several minutes, which makes the battery last much longer. It is also very precise and has a timer that starts the timer running as soon as the extracted coffee falls into the cup and I like that a lot. It also has very easy-to-use functions that are indicated in the manual. I can recommend this product 100%. It seems that the quality is also very good because I have been using it for months as I mentioned before and I still have no problems.

Great for measuring coffee
After trying quite a few other, cheaper scales, this one hits all the marks for what I need. Every other scale I tried had serious issues with reliability or longevity, but I'm happy to report that I've had this scale for about 1.5 years and it's still working fantastically. It's not perfect - IMO it's even a bit unintuitive to use for certain functionalities like timers or switching units. But I mostly use this just to measure out my coffee beans for espresso, and it's reliable, accurate, and easy enough to use for that. Besides that, it has a great battery life and often goes weeks, if not months, without needing a recharge. Overall I'm glad I got this scale and my only regret is not getting it sooner.

Scale is sometimes unstable
The scale, when it is working correctly, is great. It seems that it has as much trouble waking up in the morning as I do. Often it just works but it occasionally doesn't want to stay zeroed out, either when first turned on or after I put something on it and zero that out. After a while it seems to settle down but that is usually after I am done brewing my first cup of coffee. It is fast enough to measure the coffee as it comes out of the espresso machine and does a good job of measuring the weight of ground coffee in the portafilter. I found that the portafilter almost always weighs the same and it happens to 480g so I don't zero the scale for that. For measuring the amount of coffee, I found I really need to use zero function because the cup varies up to 4g depending on whether it is damp, wet, or totally dry. What is annoying is that when I first turn it on the weight wanders around. I'll zero it and it pops up negative or positive by 2g to 5g or so. Do it again, and it repeats the error. If I turn it off then on, it sometimes starts working correctly but other times it just wants to be unstable. While I can mentally deal with the error, using the timer is a problem. If it goes positive after I zero it, the timer starts immediately. If it goes negative, the timer won't start until the weight gets to 0. Either way, using the timer to back up the weight during a extraction often doesn't work very well. Overall I am happy with the scale. Compared to the ones that cost close to $200, it does the job for a reasonable price.

Don’t waste your time and money on this!!!
The scale I received has no business being sold to anyone. I wasted more than 2 hours dealing with miss-triggered buttons, an automatic timing function that didn’t start then after 3 seconds came on and stopped after another 2 seconds. I emailed the company and got an explanation that talked about how the buttons are proximity triggered. I tried over and over to turn on the auto timer but by simply getting close, but not touching, it triggered multiple times. So absolutely no user control! I asked them if this was normal to which they responded: “The touch panel component of the product is capacitive sensing, and the designed usage method is touch and induction triggering. This means it can be activated by proximity or touch due to its capacitive nature. We understand that it might seem overly sensitive, but this is by design.” I tried over and over again to simply use this to pull a shot of espresso but it failed every time. I even tried to just turn it on and with automatic timer on just pour water into a cup sitting on the scale to see if it would time and weight together all while nothing was near the scale to accidentally trigger any buttons. Not a chance!!! I ONLY wasted expensive coffee and my time!!!

The top is water proof and water will not seep into any buttons. Rechargeable does not need batteries and power can last very long about 1 month now still at full bar with everyday 15mins use. Comes with a timer designed for making expresso or drip coffee. Good design. If it can be made with a lower profile will be more slick currently quite thick at about 1 inch
