Beautiful, well designed mug
My favorite travel mug. Wanted something that wasn’t plastic but could be microwaved and this is the perfect fit. I’ve owned it for 3.5 years now and its clear I will own it for many more. Pros: -Doesn’t stain (I even have the white) -Every part can be disassembled and put in the dishwasher making it the easiest mug to clean -Beautiful -Microwave safe -Quality -Keeps liquid warm for a couple hours. It’s obvious this isn’t a thermos but I’m satisfied with how long my coffee/tea stays warm Potential cons depending on your needs: -Not leak proof. You can’t get away with filling this and then sticking it in the side pocket of a backpack but it will handle a walk or some potholes on a dirt road -Heavy. This has never been an issue for me but if you have wrist pain or a difference that would make this important then it is on the heavier side. -Larger circumference. I wear a medium-large size female glove and I can get my hand a little over halfway around this mug. If you have tiny hands it might be too big. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful to look at & use. Take heed of the manufacturer's notice regarding the lid.
I bought this mug because I’ve been working from my home since the start of the pandemic. Having had it with my lovely everyday kitchen use Bodum Pavina porcelain mugs tipping over on my desk, I wanted to find a porcelain mug with a similar shape and size THAT HAD A LID to help prevent what seems to have become a weekly disaster. After a wee bit of searching I found the Mora mug. Not only is the Mora mug absolutely beautiful in shape and size, its muted soft coloring is soothing to the eye. While I originally purchased it because it was beautiful, the right shape & size, & had a lid, I happily discovered the Mora mug’s well-thought-out design actually helps to prevent tipping disasters from occurring in the first place. Firstly, the Mora mug is substantial in weight due to its double-walled porcelain construction. Expect to find it heavier in the hand than your average mug. Secondly, the double-walled construction combined with the lid keeps beverages hot for at least an hour or more. Third, the mug is so solidly well balanced -- with more of its weight concentrated on the bottom of the mug than the top – that it does not topple over with the barest little nudge or push. It will take a fairly substantial bump or jolt to topple this mug over. The heavily weighted bottom is a benefit I was not expecting and it is an excellent perk. The Mora’s well-balanced weight is probably one of the major reasons why I am not in the least disturbed by the manufacturer’s warning that the lid is not leak-proof. I believe the lid’s main purpose is to assist in keeping liquids hot and it does that job well. Its secondary purpose is to mitigate spills rather than prevent spills. I find it to be the perfect desk mug but I would not use it as a travel mug. Even if you never removed it from the car’s cupholder there would be very liquid left in it after the first stop sign. It would slosh out. I am so pleased with my Mora (desk) mug I purchased two more for my college kids who are currently schooling remotely and are stuck living with their parental unit when they should be living the dream. The mugs will never make up for losing a year of college fun, but it’s something.

Almost perfect Mug
I bought this because I wanted a ceramic mug to really enjoy the taste of my coffee while working from home. It's got some serious weight to it and feel sturdy. The weight base is great to prevent knock overs. As others have mentioned the only weakness is the lid which is a little awkward but manageable (I admit I've got a big nose and can still readily drink from it). It'll keep your coffee warm for 1-2 hrs tops but I bought it to enjoy the taste over a stainless steel tumbler If you want something that'll keep coffee piping hot for 2-3 hrs get a stainless steel tumbler. It's good for short car trips but for a long hauls it won't keep liquids hot 2+ hrs (lukewarm at best). If you want to enjoy the taste and have a great looking mug this is worth the money.

I love this mug so much that I bought a second one so I wouldn’t have to share!
I love this mug so much that I bought a second one so I wouldn’t have to share! It’s heavy and sturdy, feels good to warm my hands on a cold day. Double wall design is great for maintaining temperature. The glaze is attractive, I bought the green one first, then got the blue one. The mug arrived in nice protective foam packaging, both shipments were flawless. I use the mugs at home, I haven’t traveled in a car with them so I haven’t used the cap, but the cap design is very clever. There’s a removable silicone gasket for serious cleaning, and it fits snugly. High quality product, I recommend.

Gorgeous cup, awful lid.
Cup is well made, beautiful colors, perfect size. However, the lid is awful. When sliding it closed, the entire lid pops off unless I’m using both hands and hold it in place. Definitely not great for traveling with it.

Love this mug, never mind the haters
I’m back at this product page leaving a review after nearly one year of use because I completely shattered my mug the other day and am so sad about it I’m immediately getting another one, or actually probably two. Okay, to address common complaints I’m seeing in the reviews: 1) “The lid is leaky” — the lid is a protection against splashing and sloshing on the go and is not advertised as anything more. For this it works great. I’m not sure about the videos where people are actively shaking the mug or holding it upside down and complaining about leaks… I guess if you live down an extremely bumpy gravel road this mug may not be best for you. If it’s just sitting in a cup holder in a car it’ll do its job, even holding to the occasional speed bump. Some complain about the opening being difficult to slide and I cannot speak to this because mine has always been easy. When it is open the hole for drinking is a bit small, forcing me to sip instead of chug. This is fine. It’s very easy to pop off if I don’t want to be hindered. 2) “It’s heavy” — this is true. For me it’s a selling point though. 3) “It doesn’t keep coffee hot” — unfortunately also true, BUT if you warm your mug first with hot water before putting coffee in it greatly increases the time it stays hot. (True with any mug) I’m a weird luke-warm coffee drinker though so this deficiency also doesn’t bother me. This real benefit of the double wall is that you don’t feel the heat on the outside of the mug. You can pour and pick this thing up to go immediately, especially important since there is no handle. I honestly hate seeing this item marked as “frequently returned”. It’s dishwasher safe, the lid is miles above carrying an open mug into a car, which is mostly the only other option if you can’t stand stainless steel or plastic sipping surfaces with your coffee. No the mug cannot handle being tossed in a bag or knocked over or holding your coffee hot for a long time, none of which are advertised as features. Stop demanding things from an item that it makes no claims to provide. If you live with busy mornings and your first cup of coffee is on the go, this works wonderfully.

Not sure about the quality.
I’m a little upset with this product. I had it for about 6 months and it started cracking around the whole cup. I have never even dropped it but was using it almost everyday (4 days a week to work). I put it in the dishwasher, hand washed it sometimes and put it in the microwave. All acceptable from the information with the cup. I don’t understand, but $30 or whatever the exact price seems a bit steep for something I had to throw away not long after. I was showing my husband the crack all the way around and then the cup just separates in my hand. The lid would kinda pop out at the most inconvenient times, definitely not making it splash proof. Sorry but just was not happy with this product. I prefer something sealed, so I was setting myself up for failure. As far as the quality… hopefully mine was just defective? I got one for my husband as well, but he doesn’t use his as much as I did mine, so I think his is still in decent shape.

My search continues...
I am a slow coffee drinker so I'v been on a quest to find an insulated ceramic coffee mug that'll keep coffee warm while I work. I've been looking for a replacement of an insulated double walled mug I used to have that is discontinued. It was stainless steel on the outside and ceramic on the inside, with the ceramic going up all the way to the top so the drinking surface was ceramic. It kept my coffee warm for hours because it had a nice top that kept the heat in but still allowed me to drink. I purchased the Mora Double Walled Ceramic Coffee Travel Mug to give it a try, and granted, I've only tried it for a couple of weeks but alas, it does not fit the bill. Pros: - Good aesthetics - ithas a nice feel to it, it's a good weight and the outside is nice and smooth. It's so pretty! - It's easy to clean - the cover breaks down so you can clean the individual pieces. - It's microwaveable so when your coffee gets cold (which mine did even after prepping the mug like they suggest), you can always reheat directly in the mug. Cons: - Like I mentioned before, my coffee got cold quickly in this mug. Part of the reason is because I did not like drinking out of it with the cover on. More on the cover in a bit. I prepped the mug with hot water before putting my coffee in, and it still didn't help. - Drinking out of this mug with the top on is awkward. The drinking hole is made smaller by a silicone ring that goes around the circumference of the top. It causes me to dribble coffee down the side of the mug. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to drink out of this mug with the top on. I measured the drink opening and compared it to the drink opening of a Yeti top - the mug opening measures 5 mm and the Yeti measures 8 mm. It's not easy (at least for me) to sip a hot drink out of a small opening like that. Overall - if you are a fast coffee drinker and looking for someone aesthetically pleasing to drink your coffee out of, you might want to try this mug. I'm pretty bummed that it's not working out for me. I really wanted this to be the one! I've mainly rated this product low because of the awkwardness of the drinking mechanism.

Ceramic Coated Cup
Looks great and good quality, but does not keep drinks hot for more than 45 minutes to an hour, even if you pre heat the inside of the cup.

Big Hands
Great mug for my morning coffee keeping it warm all morning. The top and opening is the only one I have ever been happy to drink through, Very wide at the top and only suitable for people with large hands. My wife has medium size hands however she cannot pick the cup up with one hand at the top, middle and middle. Would not recommend for most women and small men. Mora should produce three sizes to suit everyone.

Ceramic Mug
It was a good mug to travel use but lately it broke into pieces as it fell off the hand.

Buen producto
Buen producto, sólido y elegante para las bebidas, el único detalle es que necesitan mejorar la tapa, ya que el plástico que rodea la tapa no sella bien y se llega a escurrir un poco de líquido.
