FICS Car Phone Holder for Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W205) & GLC (X253) with 10.25-inch Display – Custom-Fit Mount for Seamless Display Integration, Interior Accessories for Navigation Use

I have a 2019 Mercedes GLC AMG 43. The maximum dimension of the infotainment screen measures 10.25-inches on the diagonal but the viewable screen is only 8.4-inches on the diagonal. These 2-dimensions create immense confusion when phone holder manfactures don't specify whether they are describing the physical hardware or the viewable portion of the screen. Subsequently, I've purchased numerous phone holders that did not fit. This phone holder fits perfect, is well designed, well enginerered, and well manufactured. It has a rubber coating so it won't rattle or scratch your interior and it does not rely on double sided tape that will melt and become a nightmare to remove in the future. The phone holder also places the phone in the perfect position to avoid interference from the gear selection lever and it does not block the view of the infotainment screen or the instrument cluster. Phone height is perfect for glancing at (phone) maps without appreciably taking your eyes off the road. This phone holder literally couldn't be better for anyone with a Mercedes C-class possessing an 8.4" viewable screen. As an aside, the phone holder itself is large enough to hold an iPhone 14plus inside the largest Otterbox (Defender) case you can buy.

Mount worked flawlessly for my Mercedes 2018 GLC300 4MATIC. I've struggled to find a good mounting solution due to the curves of the interior, and this PERFECTLY fit between my center console and dash. Extremely solid without any unwanted movement, easy enough to get in and out, and it uses a standardized ball so I can swap out with practically any other ball-based car mount (which is basically all of them). I'd prefer to use a Magsafe phone mount instead of the one provided, but the quality of everything included in this bundle is remarkable for $33. Zero complaints.

I bought this mount for my 2016 Mercedes C300 with a 10 inch monitor because all the other cell phone mounts either closed off an air vent, closed off the CD player or eliminated a cup holder. There are other mounts available but I didn’t want anything glued, adhered or strapped to the car’s dashboard as removal would be a little more difficult. This mount not only locates the cell phone in a good spot, out of the way and allows all the car’s features to fully operate. The 2 ball mounts (11mm and ??) that came in the box gave you flexibility but the 11mm worked out perfectly. There are a couple of bugs in this package though I have to admit. 1. The cell phone holder that came with the mount isn’t as nice as a lot of other holders. It’s on the flimsy side in my opinion. It may hold your phone as it should but until the phone is in the cradle its flimsy. 2. The mount (the main interest for me): is made nicely, wrapped in non-scratching leather, shaped properly for the “niche” it will fit into between the screen and the rounded instrument panel. The design intent was to wedge itself into this space behind the screen. My problem was it was a tad too large and didn’t fit as snuggly as it was suppose to so the phone would “sag” and rest on bottom of the holder on the dash in an angle that wasn’t bad just not intended. I thought what this mount needed was a small wedge to keep the holder up-right. So I made a small wedge 1/2” X 3/8” with a 1/8” taper. Painted it black and added a piece of rubber tape that came in the box. I wedged this directly behind the screen to keep the mount up-right. It works beautifully as intended. The phone is stable and you can actually use your phone at stop lights…right? Very happy with this after the modifications.

The custom part of this product (the mount) is perfect for its intended purpose. It fits snugly in my GLC 300 and provides a stable base for securing a phone to the dash. As other reviews have said, the phone holder is generic and not great. But what is great is that the mount has a standard Garmin 19mm ball, so any phone holder that attaches to that type of mount can be used, and there are plenty of great options. I've personally used the iOttie Easy One Touch 4 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076B27WP6), which is excellent but in my opinion a bit too bulky for this particular application, before settling on the Anker Air Vent Magnetic Car Mount (unfortunately no longer sold by Amazon; there are many others such as the Spigen Hexa Magnetic Air Vent mount [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AMGFY5M, just somewhat larger than the Anker], just make sure it has the 19mm ball mount--and if you make a mistake, take advantage of Amazon's generous return policy). The product has been great. It's never slipped, required no holes to be drilled or adhesives to be stuck to my dashboard, and it does its job elegantly and unobtrusively. I'm very, very happy with it and can't recommend it enough.

It fits my 2019 c43 w205 with facelift 10” infotainment screen. The quality is very good. Fit as described. Easy to use and install.

For years I have searched for a car phone holder that would actually hold my phone! After many tries with vent, cup attached holders, finally I found this one that is actually designed for my Mercedes Benz C300!!! It's easy to install and has been a game changer for me.

Looks good but it did not fit my 2016 CLA250.

This cell phone holder is the perfect solution for the W205 C-Class and I'm glad to have found it via the mbworld.org forums. It positions the phone in an ideal location on the dashboard where it is not blocking access to any other vehicle screens or controls while also keeping the screen in just the right position to utilize Waze, Google Maps, etc. Material construction is top notch. The base is made of a very solid silicone/plastic material and is molded just right to fit solidly in the space between the gauge pod and center console screen. The base is really what you're paying for here; you can substitute any phone mount onto the base that uses a 17mm ball mount to attach. I tried it with an iPhone 7 and an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Both fit just fine, although the Pro Max looks to be the size limit for the supplied phone holder. I highly recommend this product to other W205 and X253 owners!
