A must have, in case of a bad day outdoors
A must item no matter where you go. If you have bad day in an office, you can fix it with a few phone calls, paper towels (if you spill coffee) or a trip to the Doctor. But when you are out fishing or hiking, a beautiful day outdoors can turn into a life threatening situation in a blink of an eye. After researching ACR, and their products I concluded that it’s the best Bang for your Buck. This particular kit comes with a water tight bad, an automatic strobe (moisture and water activated) an emergency whistle, a reflective Emergency signal mirror, and the PLB-425 ResQLink View. The PLB-425 View is an improvement over the PLB-400. The View allows you to see (one way) msg of the progress of the signal and stages of the rescue. I like the fact that if you Use it (and ACR can verify the rescue) They (ACR) will replace it. It comes with several attachments for your gear. Highly recommended

Belt clip sucks.
Major issue with the belt clip. Doesn't hold. Plus I called tec support and left a message. Did they call me back? Two guesses and the answer is NO!!

I take heed what Dave Paulides recommends and carrying one of these when you go out into the woods is a good idea. Worth the money for a bit of piece of mind when I'm deep on a trail.
