Size:Large Made of solid brass this wonderfully designed pet urn is truly unique in style, design and color. "The Precious Paw" is named for its beautiful paw print on the lid. We adorn the urn with real Mother of Pearl accents to complete the beauty of this urn. Each urn is hand forged by old-world metal working artisans with each piece of mother of pearl precisely placed by skillful jewelers. Secure Lid is a precisely threaded screw-on top to provide an easy way to secure your pet's ashes. Please Note: Mother of Pearl is an organic-inorganic composite material produced by some mollusks as an inner shell layer; it is also what makes up the outer coating of pearls. Though it is very strong, resilient and iridescent it does have naturally occurring imperfections. Also know that the Mother of Pearl accents are hand carved and hand laid and may also contain some imperfection. It is also important to know that this urn is made of solid natural brass and therefore may tarnish, just clean with any brass cleaner to restore is beautiful luster.

Just the right size and beautiful. I put it in my china closet in the dining room.
I used this product to hold the ashes of a little, orange feral cat. I brought him to the vet when I found him lying under a patio chair in my backyard. The vet said he had suffered some kind of head trauma, and was put on medication. After several weeks, though, it was obvious that he wasn't getting better; he was getting worse. I took him back to the vet and she said that we all tried, but he wasn't going to get any better. He had to be put down. It was done very gently. The vet had him breathe into a cone so he'd be asleep when she gave him the injection that would send him over The Rainbow Bridge. A gentle way to do this difficult thing.

Looks nice but once you touch it the oils from your fingers leave fingerprints that tarnish within the day. Now I have to order brass polish in hopes to clean them off.
