Haven't tried it climbing yet, so I don't know how the product works there. Mainly are using the anchor strap on the back to support our 2yr old on a shotgun seat attached to a mountain bike. My son has it on at least half the day per his request. We’ve only had him swing from the rear loop so far (climbing wall construction begins today) and I’m very pleased with the fit and construction. Very strong stitching throughout and sturdy belay loops. We went with the XXS and the fit is just right for my almost 3 year old with plenty of room to grow.
