A nice warm, controlled, clear and calming high range is presented to the user, no harsh “tinny” sounds are delivered which lends very well to this speakers placement in a home theatre. The design is very elegant, and while the speakers are large, they are very elegant and do come in a huge range of colours so suit most users needs. Bi-wire /ba-amping is also available, along with a large range of colours and mounting options. Delivery was fast, the speakers came well packaged and arrived ahead of time and in great condition. The Wharfedale 9.1 Bookshelf speakers I found to have excellent quality output. When you check their specifications you will see that their nominal impedance is 6 ohms. This is a measure of the load that the Tibo1435 amplifier "sees" when connected and affects the power transfer between amplifier and speakers. Checking the Tibo T1435 specification it says that the output is designed for a nominal 4 ohms impedance speaker, not 6 ohms. So in theory there may be a loss of power. However, I noticed a What HIFI review of this amplifier which tested it against some other speakers which were also nominal 6 ohms so probably any loss of power transfer is not noticeable at ordinary listening volumes since very few people ever turn their amplifier up to maximum volume out of respect to their ears and neighbours! So my guess is these speakers will be fine with this amplifier. However, nothing beats actually trying them out for yourself and maybe taking advantage of any return policy if you are dissatisfied. **Q: Can anyone recommend a pair of white speaker stands for these** A: check out Kanto sp32 stands, maybe what you're looking for **Q: Can i use standard cable with these** A: Yes. Standard two core speaker cable will work. Go for the best quality you can afford expecially if you have a substantial cable run. The better the cable the less the signal loss. These speakers can also be bi wired which would of course mean dual cable runs to each speaker. They are a great bit of kit! **Q: Can i run these through a amp if so what is recommended** A: Yes.they are passive so designed to be run through an amp.
