This peeler is the absolute best. I haven’t stopped peelin since I got it. You name it it will peel it. Will recommend to all my friends and neighbors. Update…. It was amazing the first 4 times then it broke in half. TRASH DONT GIVE TO YOUR FRIENDS unless you don’t like them.

Fell apart the very first time I tried to peel a CUCUMBER..... BROKE INTO MANY PIECES. Not suitable for food and poses a great danger of metal shards in foods. Not food grade material. Literally broke like this on the 1st stroke of a cucumber, didnt even pentatonic the skin! Ive been peeling potatoes since I was 3 with my mother. This is junk. Your basically giving a donation and putting well-being at risk. Very sharp metal pieces broke off. Do not buy.

This peeler is easy to use and effective. I use it to peel vegetables, potatoes and fruit. This peeler does the job! I also like that I can put it in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.

We have been using these on a regular basis, most days there are at least 2 in the dishwasher. Get the 3 pack if you eat a lot of vegetables. These last for years and stay sharp.

I consider $10 for a veggie peeler to be kind of expensive, so I had expectations that this would be a well made item. It isn't. The metal edges on the handle are sharp making it uncomfortable to hold, and the handle flexes if you squeeze it. The blade is sharp and peels well enough. I purchased this peeler to replace my now dull peeler that I purchased for under a $1 in the 1970s - cheap, even for those times. I don't expect my new peeler to last 40+ years because it's just not well made. I'm old school. This was advertised as being like the old time peelers. It may look like the old peelers, but the construction is not the same quality.

Absolutely near perfect, imo

My old roommate had a peeler that looked exactly like this. I moved out on my own, saw this, and figured this was the same one so I ordered it. Now I think hers was definitely different, possibly vintage? This thing feels lighter, cheaper, worse, and somehow, can't even peel a carrot. It kind of mangles the carrot rather than peel it, I wish I took a picture. I was able to make it work in a pinch but I will be looking for something else. I hate to say it but you do get what you pay for. Update: This thing actually really sucks. The next time I used it after writing this review it completely broke. Don't bother... even before it was broken, it was useless.

I ordered 2. It’s a great peeler but one of them broke after using it two times, hopefully it’s a fluke.
