Peter Pan by Sir James Matthew Barrie. The magical Peter Pan comes to the night nursery of the Darling children, Wendy, John and Michael. He teaches them to fly, then takes them through the sky to Never-Never Land, where they find Red Indians, Wolves, Mermaids and... Pirates. The leader of the pirates is the sinister Captain Hook. His hand was bitten off by a crocodile, who, as Captain Hook explains 'liked me arm so much that he has followed me ever since, licking his lips for the rest of me'. After lots of adventures, the story reaches its exciting climax as Peter, Wendy and the children do battle with Captain Hook and his band. I got this book and several others for my grandchildren for Christmas last year. Such a pretty book and who does’t love Peter Pan?

Beautiful cover. Great story
Beautiful book. Aesthetically pleasing and my kids love the story. My daughter said she felt like a princess reading the book bc it was so beautiful.

This book cover is beautiful! The spine looks very nice especially since that is what is displayed when it’s not being read. I would prefer the book to be an inch or two taller, but that’s not a huge deal.

No color pictures at all, pale yellow pages, very small!
... I just received this little book with yellowish pages and several gray drawings inside (completely pale). How can I present this (as they wrote) collectible book to a child now? I would not have bought one for anything, if not for the description and reviews with colorful pictures. Accidentally did not buy the entire "collection". A small book, you can put in a small handbag! I would like to note that the dimensions of the book are the same as indicated in the description. But that doesn't change matters. Ugliness.
