This thing is amazing! We used to have an off brand robot vacuum and purchased this Roomba because they no longer make replacement brush heads for the off brand version we had. On the first running of the Roomba, I was obsessed. This Roomba vacuums in a back and forth pattern, the off brand version randomly bounced around the room. The suction on the Roomba is strong enough to create perfect vacuum lines. I have attached a picture of the amount the Roomba picked up after the first cleaning. The amount it picked up after the old one had run the day before is astounding. We have an open concept main floor and the Roomba will cover most of the floor plan on one charge. When the battery needs recharging it goes back home, charges, and then goes back out to the areas it didn’t get in the first pass. We have a mixture of hardwood floors, area rugs, and high pile carpet on the main floor and it navigates all transitions with ease. We have two cats (and a wife with long hair). This Roomba picks up the pet and human hair without clogging. The brushes are rubber so my wife’s long hair doesn’t get tangled around the brush heads. I recommend taking the brush heads out once a week to clean the ends, long human hair can get wrapped around the attachment points. The app makes it easy to operate and I love that you get a map of the areas that were cleaned. The only downfall is I catch myself watching the Roomba do it’s work instead of doing something else while my robot vacuums for me!

This is my second roomba and working perfectly. It cleans up dog hair very well but leaves clumps of hair, which I can pick up easily. We have a large dog with a lot of hair, no worries. The first Roomba fell down a flight of stairs twice, but remained working.(I covered the guides so it would clean a black runner). After having difficulty recharging, I decided to get a new one. I’m very happy with it and it cleans the black runner.

I have a Roomba 694 that I have just beat the heck out of. It’s been absolutely stellar, but with all the use, it’s wearing out. I also have two gorgeous and monstrously furry golden retrievers. There is hair EVERYWHERE. The idea of going without a daily Roomba scared me. I purchased this Roomba, because it was such a good deal, to replace Odie, the first Roomba. The first run upstairs on the carpet where my dogs aren’t allowed sucked up an awe inspiring amount of invisible crud. I swear, I’m clean, but my house was a new buy (Jan 2022) and with all the dog fur, new construction dust around us, and floaty golden floof, I needed to be able to step up my game while also keeping my 50+ hrs a week job. I will likely purchase another 694, because it does amazing on my hard floors on the main level. But man, this one just gave me a sense of relief when I saw how well it operated on my new carpet.

If you don't have the Roomba set up on the app ... it is useless and this one just WON'T set up. I have worked for weeks, only to discover that you can't connect it to a 5G network. I had to go to the IRobot website to learn this very important fact. My router is 2.4 compatible so I have spent the last week trying to get it to set up ... and it won't. It is within 12 feet of the router. The other equip on the router works fine. There is no purpose in having the thing if it isn't programmed to start on its own....therefore it is being returned. I was going to let it run by itself but you can't get it to clean a whole room without set up so again ... it is USELESS. It gets one star only because there is no negative option. Beware the refurb.

Product works well when it is moving, but often gets stuck on random things in the house. We have had it for one year and it now consistently gives error codes that we cannot fix. Would not recommend it’s inconsistency for the price point.

Wow. What a product. I just took a chance and bought this. What a time saver. If you have a dog that sheds you need this. Great on carpets and hard floors both. I run it every day throughout the whole house.

I bought a renewed 960 model and it exceeds my expectations. It’s so easy to use and easy to clean and maintain. I was impressed at how well it sucks up dirt and debris on carpeting. Its ideal for vacuuming under beds and large furniture. It’s quieter than expected. Just start it up, set it and forget it. You get notifications when the refuse bin is full, when the battery is low, or when the job is done. I connected it to my Alexa and can operate it with voice commands. I really like how it finds it’s way back home to it’s charging station when a job is completed.
