I'm so happy I got these, even though I can't compare them to the melomanias - I'm quite fussy about sound quality and these met my expectations and beyond. Like others have said, they're not bass heavy but more than enough for what I listen to. I swear I'm hearing layers of songs I hadn't heard before on speakers or my previous headphones (old but beloved urbanears plattan adv). Both the medium foam and silicone plugs work well for me personally, and I'm finding them comfortable, unlike my over ear ones which were wearing and hard to listen to in bed. I'm a musician with a wide genre, from metal to folk to house to pop to opera. The sound quality and stage presence of these is just beautiful across the board. I use the memory foam buds. They fit securely, they've been super comfy for extended hours. But obviously being tuck in your ear canal, they are naturally noise cancelling. So far I'm really impressed. I also have Sony wh1000xm3 noise cancelling over ear wireless, these compare REALLY well at x3 less the cost. The buttons are simple to use, I like them.
