Review: EXTREMELY easy to assemble, great crib - Ahh, **hint** do NOT try to move your child into a toddler bed until they are ready! I learned this the hard way. People kept telling me it was time to move my 2 1/2 year old son into a toddler bed (even though he was perfectly content in his crib). I bought a kick butt Corvette bed for him, really awesome to die for, working headlights, everything. Heck I want to sleep in it. Yeah well, it was fun but my son didn't sleep and spent the night playing in the Corvette. I had to remove the doorknob from his room, it was a mess. Mommy and son both REALLY tired. Long story short: I had a gorgeous, high end = expensive crib. It was great. I sold it on craigslist **sigh**. Two weeks later I bought this from desertcart. How depressing to have to re-buy something you sold. Oh well, this was the right price and I needed it. It is by far the easiest crib to assemble. Seriously, by myself, using the enclosed "tool", it took maybe a grand total of 25 minutes. Add 5 minutes to vacuum off the sytrofoam packing material. Really, really easy - the last crib was hell to assemble - this was so easy I kept waiting for something to pop up. You simply screw the ends on the sides using 2 bolts each and then you add the mattress platform using 4 screws and the add the wheels. Ta-Da! DONE! I had no problems with missing pieces. No scratches, not splinters, no issues at all. Do keep in mind that ALL CRIBS have to adhere to the same safety standards. No concessions are made. What you are paying for with a more expensive crib is styling and wood quality, etc. This really isn't the rock solid crib I had before, but I am not looking for a heirloom piece of furniture. I am looking for something comfortable for my child to sleep in. It is safe, very safe, it has all the safe safety features as a higher priced crib. **Q: What are the 2 mattress position heights? I'm trying to match the height close to the height of my bed to use the crib as an attached side sleeper.**
A: My crib has 3 possible heights for the mattress. The mattress support sits at approximately 14", 19" or 24" from the ground with wheels on 13", 18" or 23" without the wheels. These measurements do not include the thickness of the mattress. It is difficult to measure because the bracket that supports the mattress brings the mattress about 3"  lower than the holes that it screws in to. I hope this helps.From the bottom of the leg (no wheel) to the bottom border is 12"

**Q: what is the shipping package volume?**
A: 53"L x 32"W x 5" H which gives 8480 cubic inches or a UPS billable weight of 52 pound and because the second side is over 32" they add another $10.50.

**Q: can this crib be "side-car"ed to behave like a co-sleeper?**
A: I would say no. This is a full size crib, and has nothing to attach it to bed at act as a co - sleeper.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Crib for an Affordable Price

After reading all of the reviews I decided that this was the best bed to buy for my one year old son. It came a day sooner than was estimated, which made me truly happy. Putting it together wasn't exactly hard, but it does help to have a second set of hands handy. Luckily, my seven year old was around to help since my husband was at work. After putting it together I have to say that this is a beautiful and solid crib. My one year old loves it and it gives him so much room to move around. I will say that other reviews are correct about it being slightly larger than a regular crib. I am glad that I took the time to read the reviews so that I ordered the correct sized mattress. I personally decided to get the "Dream on Me Twilight 5 inches 8 coil spring" crib and toddler bed. It is a prefect fit, amazingly affordable price (trust me I looked at most of them on here), and my son sleeps so soundly on it you can tell that he is in complete comfort. I would suggest this bed to anyone who is having a baby or who has a little toddler. I expect my son to get plenty of use out of it.
