This is an excellent saw and a huge step-up for my (hobby) metal shop! Much faster and cleaner cuts on tubing, etc. It did not include the hex wrench needed to install the blade but instead came with one that was too small. I called Evolution and they FedEx'd one to me, but it also was the wrong size. After that I just took one that is the right size from another set of hex wrenches. Still, awesome saw!!!

I've had this for a while and was finally able to use it. I have other projects I wanted to us it for, but due to family issues they have been put on hold. Well I was able to cut some angle iron and it did great. At first I was just going to use a reciprocating saw, but that went no whare fast. So I pull out this guy (not light) and it did a fantastic job and it was FAST... very happy with it.

I bought this Evolution 15” Metal Cutting Chop Saw recently, and I am honestly impressed with how well it performs. From the first cut, I could immediately tell this machine is built with quality. The cuts come out super clean and accurate, with no rough edges and almost no sparks compared to traditional abrasive cut-off saws. For anyone working with metal, this saw is a game changer—high quality, clean cuts, fast, and safe. Definitely worth the purchase!

Hands down the best chop saw I’ve ever used and I’m glad I bought it. There are a couple of things I think could be improved 1 on miter cuts there isn’t a hole at 22.5 degrees which would be useful making 45 degree corners. 2 the holes for the degree stops seem a little sloppy. Other than that it’s pretty much like the other reviews say. One unexpected benefit is a tape measure with a magnetic end is easy to use when measuring cuts since it sticks to the blade. I built this table to set mine on and made it where I could rotate the saw for miter cuts.

Awesome saw. It is every thing people say about it.

I spent the extra money buying the Evolution brand rather than an off brand and was happy with the performance at first but after about 25 cuts the EXPENSIVE BLADE will not cut anymore. I have only cut mild steel with it so maybe I got a bad one but reached out to them about a replacement but haven't heard from the company yet. I will see if they do anything about it.
