Excellent little snowblower, light and strong
This is an amazing workhorse, for an electric blower. 10/10, no notes, my MVP of the winter 25-26. It's chewed through everything from six fluffy inches to five wet, heavy inches, to an eight inch plow drift at the end of the driveway. It hasn't broken on hidden small branches, and it does my driveway plus the entire block's sidewalks in one charge. It's light enough for a 53 year old sedentary lady to lift and move around easily. The battery charges fully overnight, no issues. I will say, it was a bit of a pain in the butt to put together, because the instructions are dreadful. I mean, worse than the flatpack furniture instructions that don't have any text on them. It skips steps, doesn't show the right parts in any detail, and generally required you to turn things around a few times while muttering curses on the heads of really bad technical writers. But once together, it hasn't faltered once.

Honestly impressive!
Day 1: it took me 30 minutes to complete my corner lot house. And when I say this thing is worth every dime I mean it. I wish it was wider but for this price? Absolutely. We had a good 5 inches of snow and it only took one pass each time, worked amazing. The blower looks like it’s not high quality because it is so light but I’m so impressed. Only 2 complaints is i wish the handle was higher because I have short arms and long body, and the battery just last a little bit long. I bought an extra one thankfully but it did die right towards the end of my job. Just needed like 5 more minutes. But the battery charges in 15 so it’s good for a short break if you don’t have an extra.

IS HATE TOO STRONG OF AN EMOTION?
I have edited the report you see below, so please read all the way to the bottom. This unit now gets 4 stars from me. I am 83 and have shoveled snow most of my life. I sold a perfectly good Troy Built 24" snow blower thinking this would be lighter and easier to maneuver. It is lighter, so that is good. In a nutshell, this is what I am disturbed with. It is nearly impossible to push across cement drives and sidewalks. The bottom scraper drags and hangs up constantly. If I tip it back so that it doesn't drag, then I am not getting all of the snow. The advertising boasts that it will throw snow 10 feet, but I find that two foot is a more honest distance. The chute clogs easily and this (my first snow) is light and fluffy. Unless there is some solution to these problems, I absolutely HATE this item. It is a waste of my hard to come by cash. I owe any of you and Greenworks an apology. One should know better than to write a review with only one try of the item. This snow thrower is much better than my review would suggest. Please let me edit the areas where I found fault. It takes a minute to adjust to the correct angle that the blower should be pushed across concrete but I was putting too much pressure on the grips and forcing it at too steep of an angle. Since lightening up, I find that most of the time it slides with ease and frankly it clears just as good a path as did my Troy Built. And I said it did not throw snow as far as the ads suggest. Obviously this will depend on the condition of the snow, but I had the diverter on the shoot turned down. When I adjusted it properly the snow was dispersed much better and much farther. I was disappointed that the battery went dead before I had cleared my walks and drives, but I own a duplex on a corner lot so there is a lot of surface to cover. It did not take over an hour on the recharger to get the battery up so I could finish the walk. Since then, I have tried the unit on snow that was trod or driven on and was really surprised as how well it cleared these areas, taking it down to bare concrete. This was much better than my Troy Built ever did. .. So, now my only area of complaint remains with the battery life. I have looked to see what a second battery would cost. Mine is a 2 amp and one of these new costs over $100. They make a battery that is nearly twice the amperage but it costs the same as my original purchase of blower, battery and charger. I do not want to spend $300 for a replacement. Not sure how I am going to approach this. Will wait until I can contact Greenworks to see if they can direct me in the right direction.

Decent blower but chute handle won't stay adjusted
First impressions after the first snowstorm with it: Assembly was easy enough but the instructions suck. Pictures are lacking and don't show the detail needed. I only knew to make sure the middle handle had the slot for the chute control facing downwards thanks to a review I read when choosing which blower to buy. (There was no mention of that in the instructions and it's barely visible in the pictures.) Battery life with the 2Ah battery was *almost* enough to do my 1-car driveway and sidewalk, with just a few feet left of the sidewalk. That was with about 6" of mid-weight snow, clearing ~16ft along the curb where it was deeper/heavier from the snow plows, and going a ways into my neighbors' sidewalks. Once I get the hang of it and remember to let it shut off while repositioning, it should have more than enough juice to do everything with some charge left. I bought an extra battery on general principle since I'll eventually get a mower to go with it but could get by without it. Performance was decent with the amount of snow we got and having ~4-5" left on the yard from another snowfall the previous week. It picked up and tossed the heavier stuff by the curb, chunks of ice, I even pushed it right up to the 10-12" piles along the side of the driveway and it didn't jam or stop. If you haven't used an electric mower/blower before, make sure to listen to it. You can hear when it's starting to bog down, telling you to slow down or let it "breathe" for a second. The only spot I had to back off or take narrower passes was in the really deep heavy stuff from the snowplow. It had no problem tossing full-width passes of the 6" stuff on the rest of the driveway and sidewalk. It left the pavement scraped clean for the most part which was nice. My only gripe, which docked one star (so far) is the chute adjustment handle does not stay put. When assembling and testing it out it works great, easy to turn side to side. Once you're actually using it, it's too loose and will not stay adjusted to point left or right. I ended up having to run it with one hand holding the chute adjustment handle down, otherwise it'd work its way back around straight and throw snow into the street, on my neighbor's car, or back onto the sidewalk I just cleared. I contacted support and they sent me instructions to take the housing of the unit apart and make sure the gears are aligned, but that's not the problem. The adjustment is too loose, not enough to hold it in place against the force of snow hitting the chute. I'll try it anyway, see if there's something that can be tightened, and see how annoying having to hold the chute handle gets as I keep using it this winter if not.

I have a large circular gravel driveway so I was skeptical at first. Needless to say I am very pleased with the performance including several 7 inch snowfalls. Battery life varied on the depth and how hard it was working but it recharged quickly. Overall I am impressed with the quality, power and price!

Bought this blower as an alternative to spending thousands on a big gas blower. Decided on this model because I already had an extra 80V battery for the weed-whacker and leaf blower. We have a big driveway and two batteries get it done, about 15-17mins per battery depending snow volume and weight. Starts without issue. Handles a few inches of snow well. Larger gets bulk but needs a small shovel clean up after. Does NOT do wet and heavy snow at all which is fine, you know what level product you are buying. It is great for the quality it is. The quality is my only complaint. You know it’s plastic, but I didn’t expect the plastic part that runs alone the driveway to deteriorate so quickly within 2.5 months. And the rod to turn the direction of throwing stopped turning the spout within a month. That’s disappointing and annoying but just means you change it manually. Seems to be an internal issue with latching but doesn’t come apart easily. That’s why 4/5. Great for price. Know the quality you purchase and be happy with it. Definitely need a second battery for a larger driveway, but 1 should do a two car driveway without issue.

This has been a great little snowblower. We had record breaking snow in the month of December with temps around the -20 to -34 C range. I ordered an extra battery because I have a very long driveway (acreage) and this unit surpassed my expectations. Appreciated the light weight of the machine as I’ve got over 30 yrs experience at being 20. Straight forward and effective for my needs.

I got it, assembled it indoors, plugged the battery in to charge, waited less than a week for fresh snow, the light fluffy stuff you could just use a leaf blower on, started it up, seemed to work, got 1 metre and it cut out. Tried to start it again, the lights come on but nobody's home. Reseat the battery and it turns on for a few seconds before cutting out again. Battery is a full charge, it's about -5C out so it's not overly cold. When you go to return it, Amazon tells you you have to pay to ship it back but of the $100 or so it will cost to ship it, they'll cover less than $4. I was putting my trust in this brand because my local hardware store sells it but I guess it's still just cheap garbage from china. Don't waste your money.
