Line 6 POD Go Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal, Black

Bought for amp modeling and basic effects, met all criteria I was seeking. Previously had a Boss Me70 which was great for learning effects and access to instant gratification with a flip of a dial, but was lacking the amp sounds I wanted as I grew as musician. This unit met those needs and is relatively easy to figure out (after a few YouTube videos). Has built in presets that are decent (sample sounds replicating famous styles or songs), with a few gems that I like which I keep going back to for quick jams. I have created a few own presets, one which I really love as it has THAT sound I've been looking for...that elusive "my sound" guitarists seek out. As it is saved as a preset, I just click to it and I have my sound, that easy. I know there is a lot that I can do that with the unit that I have not done...setting snapshots, etc, but I knew that if I was able to get a few basic profiles setup that had the sound and feel I was looking for, I'd be content. It can get you the tube sound, the impulse response that people talk about these days. For a basement jammer like me, I did not want to buy a tube amp that would 1. Be heavy 2. Be expensive 3. Be loud 4. Require an attenuator (Ox box) to get the right feel and sound. This has the modeling which is decent enough and close enough that I'm satisfied that I don't need to bother with amp shopping anymore. I can dial in the trinity of Marshall, Vox, Fender as well as a bunch of other vintage, modern and boutique amps, along with multitude of cabinets, etc. I have the Line6 Pod Go plugged left and right into 2 amps...my primary (around $800 Quilter Aviator) and a $200 Flat Response amp I bought originally for keyboard and electric drums. Sounds is amazing especially with reverb and delay. I've used the USB to go to PC, which gives a lot of control as you tweak ("dial in") your sounds, but is not 100% necessary once you get the gist of the interface. I'd still like to have seen a longer looper effect but will probably add that to my "next buy" list. Not critical, my backup sounds typically come from YouTube anyhow. I think for the price you pay, assuming you already have a halfway decent amp (or two!), is quite a bargain. Saves me time and $ from chasing the elusive "Tube Dream" I though I needed. Sounds dang good. And for me "dang good" works just fine.

This is such a good piece of guitar gear. I used to suck ass at guitar and then I got this thing. Now I will finally become mediocre at guitar. What's great about this is that I can also just have all my effects pedal in one thing. And I can rehearse with headphones on too, so my neighbours love it too, I guess. If I wanted to record my guitar to a DAW, this does that too.

Pros, Great for beginner and intermediate players and would do great service for pro’s who want to keep it simple. -solid build quality -great price for the features - really easy to use - can integrate my existing pedal board into the signal chain if I want. (I love my tube amps and pedals) Cons Just one - midi In for jamming along silent practice is a PITA with iOS. The main volume switch controls the input from that and the headset output volume. The use of the camera adapter kit on the iOS device disables the volume control on your phone/iPad so you get VERY LOUD to the point it drowns the guitar or damages your ears. Accessibility touch controls on the phone do not resolve the issue either. There is a workaround in global settings to drop the USB input to 1/2 which then allows you to roll down the decibels on that channel. I’ve found -14db works for me so far. But it’s a faff. Would be nice to have a separate volume controller, but I suppose at the price point one cannot have everything.

Has a bit of a learning curve & it can completely glitch out on you if it hasn't been properly updated. But otherwise very good.

My Firehawk FX finally died after 8yrs so I moved on to this. I used this for worship music at church and it's proven to be very versatile, has all the amps and ffects you could ever need, and sounds awesome. If you're coming from a Firehawk FX, don't worry about the lack of XLR outputs. There are short TRS to XLR adapter cables that I bought on Amazon for $10 that accomplish balanced output without DI boxes. Excellent upgrade from the Firehawk because this has a smaller footprint and adds the extra functionality of Snapshots plus a computer based editor. Rock on!

Good amp and effects sounds but each preset is limited to 4 effects and a single amp/cab combo. Snapshots (presets within presets only support bypass and block settings, not changing blocks). So, switching between amps or different reverb models (if you already used the 3 other slots) requires more stomps that ideal. Overall, good enough for a hobby guitarist but I wouldn't play live with it.

Have had many many many pedals and amps over the course of my life. I bought this one for my church worship band and it works great. I liked it better thank my helix LT sounded. It just easier to get a warm sound without harsh highs. It has tons of amp sims and lush reverbs and delays. You won't be disappointed

Good came in good condition

No sabía si ir por el podgo o por algun stomp, la verdad es que preferí ser mas practico ya que no requiero tantos efectos al mismo tiempo. SI INCLUYE EL INALAMBRICO, no viene bien aclarado en la informacion, pero si, la caja si incluye el Relay G10TII, asi que no tienen que comprarlo por separado. Me sorprendió la señal, esta semana lo usé en un foro para 600 personas, acompañado de 8 musicos, todos con sistemas inalambricos y nunca noté que se perdiera mi señal. El sonido es muy bueno, es una gran forma de entrar al ecosistema de Line 6, me gusta que se le pueden cargar IRs, yo le compré unos de Ola Englu y suena increible.

Product’s LCD screen has lower visible lines, affecting the display ☹️

Pod Go is very good, I hope Helix Floor will also be listed here. I will buy 👍
