We charged ours for an hour and we use it daily and have never had to re charge it yet

Why is it that it’s fully charged but won’t stay on

It has an auto off timer after 30 min I think. It should be in the instructions. I believe it's to prevent over heating. I kept thinking mine was shutting off when it had a full charge. Hope that helps! You have a year warranty too.

Is there a certain way to clean the attachments?

I just use a damp cloth or alcohol pad as we use this at home.
