this pad is amazing. Im a highschool marching band/drumline tenor and snare player, and recently ive been using the grow daily drum pad, one of those generic gray rubber and wood ones. the sound was inconsistent and i wanted a better one. i was surprised when this pad came not only much larger than regular pads but loads heavier aswell. it feels like it was made with care and meticulously tested by drummers themselves. this pad allows for shots, snare-like rebound on this sticks, and sounds clear and concise. if ur looking for quiet, this is not the pad for you.

This practice pad is absolutely amazing! I use it all the time for marching band, drumline, and concert percussion. The pad features a laminated front side for a realistic feel, while the backside is much quieter, making it perfect for practice sessions. Although it is a bit heavy—I'm not sure of the exact weight—it’s great for placing on a stand. With a diameter of about 14 inches, it mimics the feel of a regular marching snare. While I would recommend it primarily for marching band, it can certainly be used for drumset practice as well—whatever suits your style! I LOVE THIS PRACTICE PAD! For around $85, this incredible practice tool can be yours. It’s definitely worth every penny!

My son asked for one of these for Christmas as it was very popular with his drumline friends. He is constantly practicing on it and I have yet to notice any wear and tear. Very durable and the sound coming from it is good. It's quieter than his marching snare so that's a huge positive in our house.

The person I bought this for said it didn't work with finger taps as he expected. He didn't have a set of drum sticks, so I smoothed out a pair of chop sticks and he said it worked for his intended use. Well worth the cost.

This pad is worth the money. The weight of it feels like you got your moneys worth. It’s a big pad too. The sound is amazing. The feel is what you would expect if you’re looking for a pad to practice marching snare stuff. The chameleon laminate adds some flare to it. Now if you're looking for something to practice with, and you primarily play drum se. This may not be the one for you, but for me, a pad is a pad. It’s worth it. Buy it.
