Westek Battery Operated Wall Sconce - Bronze

I needed something inexpensive to put up in the laundry room that would also light the back entry way. These are perfect! They are plastic so I personally wouldn't put them up in a more obvious area of the house (they are obviously plastic in appearance), but they look nice. The light amount is perfect, and I love the automatic shut off. Now I don't have to turn on the entire hallway and entry lights when I only need one light. The switch is easy to find when fumbling in the dark. Easy install with no wires needed.

OMG THESE ARE GORGEOUS! We hung them in our den and they add just the right amount of light. They have two brightness settings.. and a timer! At first I was kind of annoyed they didn't come with a remote, but with the timer, its a non issue. Turn them on, and dont worry about forgetting to shut them off .

These look great, and unless you touch them you can't tell they're plastic. Took off a star for the battery. You need to change it to a name brand battery because the one that come in it is really cheap and runs out quickly.

Looks exactly as it’s pictured, but just all plastic, like they came out of a 3D printer or something. An advantage to that is that they’re lightweight. Disadvantage though is that they’re like a plastic toy: cheap looking and feels light/cheap (ie construction). The light “bulb” themselves are the flat LED’s that are used for small decorative things, like solar yard light decorations, the ones about 1/4” X 1/4” flat squares. Theyre good for low battery usage, but really NOT good if you want functional lighting for a room! This is the main reason I bought them, to help light up the room, and they’re pretty dim for that purpose. Not many options out there though for something battery-powered. I guess the lesson learned is that if you need more lighting for your room, then you’re going to have to wire up a new connection or find an outlet for a lamp. I believe form should follow function! It makes no sense to me every one else’s high reviews: these are three stars AT BEST. I’m learning Amazon reviews are not reliable like Yelp reviews, and are slightly on par with Google reviews which we all know have corrupted statistics. So… Keep your expectations low, and know that these wall sconces are mostly for decorative purposes and don’t provide much functional light to a room. See the photo for evidence of the above: the wall sconces are about 1/3 as bright as a standard light bulb like my desk lamp. The desk lamp uses a pigtail daylight LED bulb. I don’t understand all the high ratings, really they’re just okay. For the price, it’s not worth it, and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND to other Amazon customers for that reason. These things are like something that comes out of a party decoration magazine for weddings and quinceañeras. 🤣🥳😛 they’d work well with other stuff you buy in bulk for cheap🎊🕺🏿. Yep… I definitely feel ripped off over-paying $20 a piece for these plastic lights. They’re worth no more than $5 each.

So i have a few areas in my home that are dark once the sun starts to set, and I've been looking for something to add some ambient lighting for those areas. Yes, I have ceiling lights in these two areas that are pictured, but I wanted something I could leave on all the time without having to constantly turn on and off a light switch. My search brought me to these and WOW! The light that these give off is more than I expected. As you can tell from my pictures, the first one is no light (and you can see how dark it is), 2nd pic is on brightest setting, 3rd pic is lowest setting. I've had these for a week now, and have turned them on the lowest setting and just let them turn off automatically with the 4 hr timer (works perfect because I turn them on about 7:30p and they're off after I've gone to bed). They are super easy to install, and I didn't use the provided screws, I just used a nailed and hammered it into a wall location, and the scone sits perfectly flush against the wall (I also have wood walls, so no anchors needed.. but then again, these are relatively light weight, so even on sheet rock I don't think you'd need anchors). If I could suggest an improvement, it would be that the lights would automatically turn on every 20 hours and then turn off after 4 hrs (I had a wall sconce like this before, it was more of a tiffany shade, but sadly I gave it away a long time ago). Based on the 50 hour run time, and I am using these daily, I expect to change out the batteries about every 3 weeks or so... I'll give an update.

These lights are adorable! So easy to install and though not super bright (they were not advertised that way) they are perfect for where I mounted them. I plan to purchase more. What a great product.

I couldn't get them to work. I am returning them.

Item arrived with scratch very visible on plastic bulb shade.

Just measure. Mark for a couple of screws. Install the batteries and your ready to go. Just flick on our off or let the 4 hour timer shut them off after you have fallen asleep.

I was hoping that these fixtures would help brighten my dining but it’s really not meant for the dining room. More for hall lighting... but I’m happy with them.
