Good Tee, some seepage
We bought a new house and the backyard sprinkler system was broken beyond repair. Even with professional help, I was unable to locate the sprinkler valves for the back yard. So instead I set out to research and install my own drip irrigation to automate the watering process, mostly because I am way too lazy to water my backyard every other day. I chose the rainbird family of products because of the positive reviews and the plethora of options.I chose drip emitters for the trees and shrubs in my yard. I chose 1/2 in tubing for the systems backbone. Then 1/4 in tubing to run out to the individual plants, flowers, trees, shrubs... There are two ways you can install them. You can install them straight into the 1/2 in tubing, like I did. The other way is to install a 1/4 in coupler into the 1/2 in tubing, then run a 1/4 tube to the plant. Then connect the drip emitter at that end. I chose this configuration because some people complain about the water pressure pushing the emitter off the end of the tubing. I used this Tee to bridge the 1/2 in tubing in two separate places. I have noticed some seepage on both Tees. I am a little disappointed in that, but it hasn't affected the overall performance of the drip irrigation system.+ Great price.+ Very easy to install them. Be sure to purchase and use the Rainbird special tool to flare the ends of the 1/2 in tubing before connecting it to this Tee. I personally dislike special tools, but they are only a couple bucks each. I saved a ton of money by doing this project myself ($250 total cost), so to me it was worth it to get the specialized tools.+ Happy with the performance so far.- They seep, no matter what I do. Its ok because the system still perform great.I am satisfied with this Tee, but I do with they didn't seep. Ill update this review as necessary.

Too small for 1/2 Rain Bird Brand Irrigation Tubing
I thought these would work with 1/2 Rain Bird Brand irrigation tubing, but they don't. They're absolutely useless and won't hold anything together. Do not buy if that's what you want these for.

Too small, more like 3/8"
These are too small for 1/2" irrigation hose and ALSO too small for 1/2" drip irrigation hose (they slip right out) so I don't know what they're supposed to fit. They're more like 3/8", not 1/2".Don't buy!

Avoid. Not 1/2".
Like others, I could not get these to work on 1/2" tubing. "Almost" doesn't make it. Makes no sense to buy three hose clamps to try to make these work.

Does not fit 1/2” hose
It does not fit a standard 1/2” drip system hose. Must be a Chinese 1/2”. Wasted my money and time!

False advertising!

Not for indoors
I purchased these to link a waterfarm from general hydroponics also using rain bird polyline. All connections have a slow drip which would be acceptable outdoors but for indoor this just becomes a flooding problem.

Rain Bird Tees & Couplings are too small
These 2 fittings were sold for use with 1/2" irrigation tubing from Rain Bird. Their outside diameter is too small for the tubing and cannot make a seal. I had to use hose clamps on every connection to make a tight seal. This is just a bad design.
