A Song of Ice & Fire: Targaryen Starter Set

The quality of the sculpting is excellent. The level of detail and depth of detail is likewise excellent. The quality of the casting is overall very good, but be advised that if you bought these for display and not playing, there are some pretty large gaps where the pieces went together. Overall, I’m happy with them. They should paint up nicely!

Great game. Very detailed models especially for them being ready out of the box. Plus army list tend to be cheaper for a wargame unlike some other wargames. All in all, it is a good amount of plastic and detail for the value.

These are your typical berserkers who wade into combat with a Speed of 6 and a decent Sundering attack rating that gets more dice as they take casualties. They are very fragile though (Armor save 6+), and also take Wounds whenever they roll 1s. At 5 points, they're not cheap either, so be careful what units you attack and be careful of getting stuck into a fight with multiple enemies. Really nice sculpts that can be used for not only ASoIF but any tabletop roleplaying game.

Nice Cavalry army.

The starter kits for the A Song of Ice and Fire miniatures game are a really good value for what you pay. Not only do you get a starter army, but you also get a copy of the rules, dice, terrain, and even a NCU tracker. Plus you get 55 miniatures and they're really good quality. Would recommend!

I bought this to tide me over while I waited for a very large ASoIaF order to come in. Let me tell you, these models are amazing. You get three different poses, four models per pose. They are not so similar as to make it an issue when they are on the tray, there is plenty of diversity. The packaging inside the box itself is nice, protecting the models well. You could even continue to use the box itself to carry around the unit and it wouldn't be the worst storage option. Will definitely be getting more of the Night's Watch faction!
